The bustling downtown of the City was once filled with hundreds of thousands of commuters rushing back and forth. Now all that is left are silent buildings haunted by the corpses of the dead that still slump at their office desks and roads packed with people who just wanted to get out.

Highland Mall
This was the pride and joy of the city, catering to people who traveled for hundreds of miles in order to shop within the four-story shopping mall. It features over three hundred specialty stores plus a foodcourt with 25 different restaurants.

Downtown Shelter
This once was a shelter for the homeless. Well, actually, the homeless are still quite sheltered here, though it smells much worse than it did before. The shelter offers beds, nonperishable foods and showers.

Church and Cemetary
The small, but cozy church appears to house more dead than the cemetary next door does. The cemetary, for its part, is perhaps the most peaceful area in the entire city.

Highland Hotel
Right at the edge of the downtown on the edge of the river is one of the fanciest hotels in the entire city. On the far side of the river is the forest.

The quaint little houses like the streets in silence. The lawns that once were so meticulously manicured begin to sprout weeds. A few dogs yip from indoors, but those yips begin to fade as time passes.

The local dollar store offers a wide variety of off-brand products for cheap. Oh, c'mon . . . if you're going to loot, at least go somewhere with worthwhile merchandise. Like Wal-mart.

It's not just any Wal-Mart: it's Super Wal-Mart, complete with vegetables and fruits rotting in their stands. Actually, the greeters at the door are rotting at their posts, too. But you can still identify them by their blue jackets.
