Deadly Match, A Raven and RedX fanfic

I kinda sorta support Raven and RedX too. So I made a fanfic!

Chapter One: An alliance?
The Teen Titans were enjoying a normal day at Titans Tower. Cyborg and BeastBoy were playing video games on the Gamestation while Starfire watched. Robin was training in the gym. Raven was meditating in her room with peace and quiet.
"BeastBoy, I believe Cyborg is kicking the butt." Starfire said giggling.
"He cheated! He ran me off the track!" BeastBoy said angrily.
"Oh, c'mon BB, just admit it. I beat you! For the fifth time in a row!" said Cyborg. He loved teasng BeastBoy after he won. He couldn't help but burst out laughing. Raven was disturbed by the yelling and came out of her room, into the main room where they were. "I'm trying to meditate. I cannot concentrate with all of this pointless yelling. BeastBoy. Cyborg kicked your sorry butt. Deal with it!"
"But he ch-" BeastBoy was inturupted by Raven useing her powers to wrap a piece of tape around his mouth. "Now you can't complain." Raven said walking back into the hallway.
Everything seemed to be going well, nothing out of the ordinary in the Tower. Suddenly a siren flashing the whole tower red stopped everything. Robin ran out of the gym, Cyborg and BeastBoy jumped off the couch, while Starfire simply flew over to the large computer. Raven looked annoyed and turned back around. All the titans gathered by the computer, as Robin looked up who their villain to take down was. "RedX again. We can't let him get away this time! He's at the downtown warehouse. We need to get there as quick as possible. Titans Go!"
Everyone ran to the garage and got into Cyborg's car, also known as the T-car. Cyborg ofcourse drove and started the car up.
They arrived about five minutes later. Everyone rushed out of the car and ran to an opening of the building. Everyone walked in with caution. Suddenly a figure appeared out of nowhere and kicked Robin causing him to collapse on the floor. He groaned out of anger and quickly got back up. Raven readied her powers, Starfire's eyes glowed green as she readied her starbolts, Robin took out his staff, Cyborg stood ready for anything that was about to happen. BeastBoy simply stood there not sure what to expect. "So we meet again...." RedX said in the darkness. "Come out and fight!" Robin yelled.
"As you wish." RedX replied. He ran out into the light and punched Robin in the face. Cyborg came hurtling down ready to punch RedX, but before he could do anything he flipped over Cyborg and kicked him from behind. BeastBoy quickly changed into a gorilla and slammed his fists down trying to crush him. Then he disappeared, leaving BeastBoy in wonder. RedX jumped on his head and shot an "X" goo thing at him. BeastBoy changed back to normal, saying, "Dude, this is the second time! Can't I get a brake?!"
"Sorry green. I don't give brakes."
Starfire shot starbolts at him from behind as he ran across the floor making his way to Raven. To Starfire's surprise he jumped onto a pole on the roof, spun around it and kicked her on the back sending her to the ground. Raven didn't know what to do. She felt nervous for some strange reason. RedX simply walked over to her. Raven shot dark energy at him but he blocked it. He grabbed her by the hood and pulled it down. "You have such a pretty face. Why do you hide it?"
Raven was shocked. Her eyes widened in confusion.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" she shouted shooting a large crate from the back of the building at him. He jumped over it, and shot at her with an "X" shaped weapon that trapped her on the wall. "You know, I think w-" RedX was suddenly kicked by Robin, which surprised him. Cyborg opened his blast cannon and shot at him. RedX fell, and got back up slowly. But before anybody else got to him, he blocked everything with a soundproof shield, so only him and Raven were inside. "Release me!" Raven shouted.
"Are you kidding? I-" he started but then Raven inturupted him by using her hands to shoot at him with her dark energy. RedX widened his eyes saying, "C'mon cutie, give me a chance."
"What do you want?" she asked angrily. The other Titans kept blasting, kicking, and punching the shield hoping to break it. But it was all pointless, for it wouldn't come down.
"We'd make a great team. We can steel together. Why don't you give up the hero work?"
"I won't lisen to you! Release me!" she shouted again. "Don't get me angry!" her eyes started to turn white.
"Your eyes are beautiful. Just like your name. Raven."
"Shut-up!"
"I'm just giving you a complimet."
"I didn't want one!"
"Fine. I have to go now, but we'll meet again. If you ever decide to take up on my offer, I'm always at the midnight club a few blocks from here. I'm not such a bad guy Raven......once you get to know me....." he suddenly disappeared into red smoke, and the shield dropped. The Titans rushed over to help Raven. "What did he tell you?!" Robin and the others asked.
"It was nothing. H-he just told me we'd meet again...." she said nervously.
"You bet we will. And he's in for a major but whoopin'!" Cyborg yelled. Starfire burned the metal material that Raven was trapped in. Raven dropped to her feet.
"Thanks Star...." she said softly. She walked to the T-car, and got in. Everyone looked at eachother.
"He did something to her." Robin said.
"I know. She sounded nervous." BeasBoy asked.
"Perhaps Raven is just embarassed or frightened. We should not bother her." Starfire said.
"We have to find out sooner or later. We'll talk to her tomorrow." Robin said. Everyone nodded in agreement and got into the T-car, and drove home.

Chapter Two: Raven's decision
As soon as they got home Raven headed straight for her room. She didn't want to talk. The Titans watched her head into the hallway. Robin rushed over to her. "Raven are you alright?"
"I'm fine."
"Are you sure? You seem a little nervous."
"I said I'm fine." And with that Raven quickly closed the door to her room, and Robin stood there confused. He shook his head walking back into the living room. "Anything?" Cyborg asked.
"She says she's fine. But I'm not sure about that." Robin answered.
"Like you said, we'll talk to her tomorrow. Maybe she's just in a bad mood. You know Raven."
Robin nodded. "I'm heading to bed" BeastBoy said. "I need my beauty rest." The other Titans tried to hold their laughs in. When BeatBoy walked into the hall he saw Raven. Surprisingly she was wearing a whole different outfit. Black shirt with a red "x" on it, black pants with some chains running around it. "Uh Raven? What are you doing?"
Raven suddenly noticed BeastBoy after he spoke. She was slowly walking around him. "I-It's nothing.....I um, just changed."
"That's different. Well, for you." BeastBoy looked at raven curiously.
"I'm fine. Don't start with me."
BeastBoy backed away. "Okay fine." and he headed back to his room. Raven went back into her room, and looked out the window. It was still light out. Only 7 at night. "I can't believe I'm doing this." Raven said to herself. She looked behind her looking torwards the door. She went back up to it and locked it. "I hope they don't get suspicious...."
She went back to the window and opened it. She flew out and closed the window back up. She figured she should walk once she got on the street so nobody would be curious. She walked until she got downtown. She sat on a bench looking at her surroundings. It had gotten dark and the city lights lit up. Then she saw a building that said "Midnight Club $15 per person" Raven slowly got up and walked torwards the door. A security guard stood in front of the door. "That'd be fifteen dollars miss."
"I-crap, I don't ha-" suddenly someone touched her shoulder and said "She's with me. Here...." the young man handed the guard thirty dollars. He stepped aside letting them pass. "Have a nice night..."
The young man touching Raven's shoulder led her in and they both took a seat at the bar. He had shaggy black hair covering half of his face, skin color like Raven's, he wore a black shirt with a little ghost on it. And a black wristband. ((He's the guy from "Sisters"))
"So....you're RedX? I remember you. We talked at that pointless party at that warehouse" Raven said.
"That's me.....so you decided to come. I knew you coudn't resist..." He looked at her shirt and smiled. "Nice shirt."
"Whatever....now explain to me again what exactly it is that you want." Raven said.
"A partnership. We can steel things together, and you can give up this sorry hero work."
"I don't steel."
"Why not? It's not like we would get caught. I've seen your powers. Nobody will catch us."
"Thing is, I am a hero, and I won't give that up. After what happened to me....I want to start new. No evil for me."
"It's not evil. It's just robbing"
"No! You can go to jail for that. Are you stupid?!"
"No I'm not. If I was I would've been caught already. Nobody knows who I am, except you."
"You're a fool. If you even think I would consider that!" she said angrily.
"It'd be fun. Just steel basic things, you know, like money....."
Raven sat silent for a minute. "See, you're thinking about it aren't you?" He said smiling.
"What is your name?"
"Adrian" He answered.
"I won't help you. I'll tur-" he stopped her by getting up and walking torwards the door. "You comin'?" he asked.
Raven stood up angrily, and they left outside. "We can talk back here" he said going into the middle of an alley. Raven followed him, and they leaned on the walls. "Maybe you'd help if I said it was for a good cause...."
"There is nothing good that will come out of steeling!" Raven attacked him with her dark energy. He got hit and fell to the ground. "Whatcha going to do?" he said laughing. He got back up and did a swoop kick causing Raven to fall. She punched him onto the wall, and he kicked once more. They both fell and Raven landed on top of him. They stared at eachother and finally got up. Adrian spoke up. "I just need some money so I can go buy myself a good apartment! The one I live in now is going down. Literally! Construction workers are going to tear it down! I'll be homeless!"
"Why don't you get a job?!" Raven yelled. "Nobody will hire me!!!! I've had many bad past experiences with jobs that you don't want to know about....."
"Your parents can't help?!"
"They are dead, and I don't know anybody else in the family...." he paused and stood there silently. "I could help you I guess.....I am hero. They give us a lot of things for free."
"But they won't do that."
"Yes they will."
"No they won't!"
"Just shut-up!!! I'll figure something out!" Raven walked out of the alley and onto the sidewalk going home. "We can can meet back here again tomorrow night!" Adrian yelled. Raven kept walking and suddenly she felt his hands on her shoulders and she heard a whisper. "Please help me....." Raven looked behind her, but when she did he had disappeared.

Okay, here are all of the Chapters I've done so far:

Chapter three: Adrian's past
Adrian walked down the lonely streets heading back to his small apartment. He was seventeen years old, almost eighteen. He looked down at the ground folding his arms as he walked. He was a few inches taller than Raven, and he was very much like her. He walked into a run down building, walked up one floor and went to the first apartment on the right. He was the only person that actually lived in this building, everybody else had moved a few months earlier knowing they would be tearing the building down.
Adrian had money, but only enough for food and clothing, and a few basic house needs. He was doing pretty well for a kid who's parents had died and left him no money at all. His family never kept in touch, so he didn't no anybody else, and the foster home he had lived in for about two years, he ran away from because of all the pressure. His parents died when he was fourteen. They had gotten in a car accident after drinking. Because of this, Adrian doesn't even go near any beer or achoholic drinks, and never will. He went into a foster home with some very nice people, and he lived with them until he was sixteen. He had run away. His foster parents were in shock and they called authorities but he was never found. Now that Adrian is turning eighteen this year and can live on his own, they dropped the case. He snuck into the apartment he lives in now, and when landlords found out, they took it easy on him, and allowed him to stay. He's been living here for about a year.
Adrian had become Red X so he could steal money and household goods easier. It had helped him a great deal. He new it was wrong, but he needed it badly.

The boy has had four jobs but each of them ended in complete disaster. His first job was a cashier at a local grocery store a few blocks down. The customers always gave him a hard time cursing and critisizing him for the way he was. He kept his cool, until one day one man mentioned his parents. Adrian couldn't bare the thought. He screamed at the man, and almost puched him until the manager stopped him. He had no choice but to fire him, he couldn't risk that again or it would drive away customers. The manager gave him one last pay before he left to show he had worked hard and really was a good kid.

His second job was a fisherman. He caught fish for a crew of men who cooked for a seafood restaurant. He took the job because the money paid well. One day, the fish were just not biting. One of the crewmen continued spitting on him and yelling at him for not catching anything. Adrian got angry and through the man off the boat. The man could swim so he climbed back on board and kicked Adrian. He punched back and yelled at him to leave him alone. The rest of the crew stopped the two of them and fired them both. The sea was no place to get into fights. Adrian had only done it for a few weeks and was already out of the job. He at least had a few hundred dollars to feed himself.

His third job involved a waiter at a bar. He really didn't want to work with beer, but didn't have much of a choice. He needed money, and because he was too young to work with beer anyway, he lied about his age. He looked the part and seemed pretty mature, so they hired him. On woman kept ordering the same alcaholic drink over and over again. He noticed her getting drunk. Out of concern Adrian told her not to order any more. The woman got angry and ordered him to get her another drink. He refused knowing the danger it could have on her. He knew what had happened to his parents, so he couldn't let her. She went to Adrian's boss and he was fired on the spot. Before Adrian left he snuck into the boss's files and cleared all of his history so he would never find out the truth about his age or anything else.

Adrian was at his breaking point and couldn't stand not having a good job. He decided to give it one last shot. He found a job as a valet parker. He thought this would be his best job. He had had it for about 3 months and his boss praised him for his good work. Adrian actually felt happy and thought he could make a living. His boss was very kind, and Adrian went to him for guidance, and looked up to him as a father figure. One day on the job as Adrian pulled a car up for a couple to take their car back. They both were rude snobs who only cared about money. They lied and said they saw Adrian steel something out of their car. Adrian told the truth saying he did not steel anything, but the people were only trying to get money off the company. Adrian's asisstant boss was filling in for the real boss who was off on vacation. He fired Adrian. Adrian was heart-broken. He didn't know what else could go wrong. When his real boss found out he tried to contact Adrian but never found him.
Adrian was sick of jobs and hated the world. He thought everything was pointless. He decided to steal what he needed, and get through his life like that.

Adrian sat on the couch and fell asleep. He had thought about Raven, and prayed she would help him. If she could he wouldn't have to steel anymore, and could live a better life. Raven was really his only hope. Adrian knew he was growing weaker and one day he would be caught, he just couldn't risk it.

Meanwhile, Raven had arrived back at the tower. She walked across the lawn and then flew up to her room window. She opened the window and walked in and closed and locked it. When she turned around her lamps turned on and there stood the Titans, with Robin standing in front looking pretty angry. "So...Raven, where have you been?"
Raven stood still, silent, and very nervous. "I-I took a nice walk out. I was feeling really stressed."
"Why didn't you tell us?"
"Robin...I just wanted it to be secret so you guys wouldn't worry. Everything's better now, really."
Starfire stepped forward and cupped her hands together. "Friend Raven, if something ever is wrong, you will tell us next time, yes?"
"Ofcourse Starfire. Tonight I just needed some alone time. Some fresh air."
"We're just glad you're okay Rae." Cyborg said kindly.
"Yeah, we got like totally freaked when you wouldn't answer the door, so we didn't have much of a choice but to come in." BeasBoy said trying to clear some things up.
"You didn't snoop through anything like last time did you?" Raven asked suspiciously. BeastBoy and Cyborg smiled while blushing."No, that was before we barely knew anything about you." Cyborg said. "Yeah, that won't ever happen again." BeastBoy said rubbing his head.
"Yeah, it better not." Raven said strictly. Robin and Starfire smiled. "I guess everything's back to normal." Robin said smiling and walking out the door. They all walked out and Raven closed the door.
"No, it's not Robin..." Raven said to herself after the door was closed.

Chapter four: Raven's Feelings
Raven awoke the next day hoping Adrian was okay. She didn't know why, but she couldn't help but thinking about him. He's a criminal, don't fall for him! But no matter how many times Raven told herself this, she remained thinking about him. She walked out of bathroom after refreshing herself, and went into the kitchen ready for some breakfast. When she walked into the room she didn't realize that she was smiling. Robin looked over suspiciously at her.
"Uh, hey Raven. You feeling okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine Robin" she said calmly. "Why are asking?"
"Well, you're smiling...and that's not like you..."
"Raven grabbed her mouth turning around. When she looked up she saw BeastBoy coming. Her eyes widened and she accidently fell back. Robin rushed over and caught her.
"Dude, what's with you?" BeastBoy asked. "Am I too good looking?" he smiled.
"Raven, what's wrong? You've been acting strange ever since we ran into Red-X" Robin's mask widened. "He did something to you, didn't he?"
Raven stood up, and started to walk away towards the hall again. "It was nothing."
Robin ran up to her grabbing her arm. "Raven, why won't you just tell us?"
Raven shook him off. "Raven, is that a tear?"
Indeed it was. Raven ignored him and walked away. She wiped the tear away. I can't get him out of my head. She walked into her room and stood there for a moment. "I need to see him". Raven put some black pants and another black shirt on with a skull and then teleported outside. She put her hood up, and flew downtown. Meanwhile, back at the tower Cyborg walked past Raven's room and then stopped and knocked on her door. He knocked a bit too hard knocking the door down. "oops." He peaked into her room. "Raven? Yo Rae! Where are you?"
Nobody answered. Cyborg went into her room finding she was gone. "She's probably up already."
Cyborg walked into the main room to find everyone but Raven. "Hey guys, where's Rae?" he asked concerned.
"You mean she's not in her room?" Starfire asked.
"I knocked on the door, and looked in her room but she wasn't there. I figured she was here."
Robin took out his communicator, and tried to locate Raven. "She's downtown." he said.
"Why's Raven down there? You don't think she's after X do you?" BeastBoy asked.
"That's actually a good possibility." Robin answered, "We need to go down there and find her. Better yet, find out what she's doing."
"But dude, what if she doesn't want us to know?"
"BeastBoy, she's been hiding something ever since we had our last encounter with X. Last e saw him, he was downtown. We need to know what she's doing. Our best bet would be to look in the warehouse."
"I guess we should get going." Cyborg said.
"Yeah, c'mon." Robin said leading everyone to the garage. They all entered the car and went back to the warehouse.
Once they arrived back at the scene Robin took out his communicator. Starfire noticed and asked. "Why do you not contact her?"
"We need to sort of spy on her. She doesn't know we are here, so she won't suspect anything. We'll meet her when the time is right." Robin replied. He looked at the map where the dot that was supposed to be Raven was. "It doesn't say where exactly she is. We just need to follow the map and guess."

BeastBoy changed into a dog and tried to find Raven's scent. The Titans followed him. He suddenly found it near an apartment. BeastBoy changed back to normal. "Guys, I think I found where she is. At least where she's near."
The Titans looked up. They saw a run down apartment building. They ran near it and hid behind a few trees and bushes. They waited to see Raven.

Meanwhile, Raven was just walking looking for the run down apartment. "He never told me where it was..." she said to herself. Suddenly she saw a strange looking building and a figure walking out of it. And so did the Titans. "Who's that?" BeastBoy asked.
"I don't know." Robin answered. "Probably just a resident. No big deal."
"Who'd wanna live in that dump?" BeastBoy asked.
"BeastBoy, just shut-up!" Cyborg finally said.

Raven looked closer to see the figure was Adrian. His hands were in his pockets. His hair fell across his face, and he looked up to see a figure running towards him. It was Raven. When she reached him, she hugged him. Adrian's hands rose out of his pocket and he looked at Raven strangely. "Raven?!"

The Titans mouthes dropped. "Is that Raven's Raven's boyfriend?!" Cyborg asked in dismay.
"Raven has a boyfriend?" BeastBoy said smiling.
"Well, that is all. Perhaps she was worried about her friend boy." Starfire insisted.
"But she keeps sneeking out. Why is she hiding him?" BeastBoy asked.
"Well you know Raven, she'd think that we would think it was too weird." Cyborg said.
Robin's mask then widened. "That's not her boyfriend." Robin looked at the two. "That's Red-X"
"Say what?!" Cyborg almost yelled.
"No, way!" BeastBoy said.
Starfire's eyes just widened as she said. "What could she be doing with him?"
"I don't know." Robin said.

"Adrian...are you alright?" Raven asked. She felt a comfort as she hugged him. She gave a slight smile.
Adrian put his arms around her back. "Ofcourse I'm fine. Whadda ya think went wrong?"
"That's why I came to see, because I didn't know..." Raven finally let go and looked at him. "I think I know how we can get you a new place. Wanna go talk about it?" she asked him smiling.
"Sure." Adrian said also smiling. Raven turned around and they both walked away. Adrian put his arm on Raven's shoulder, and she blushed.

As they walked away the Titans looked at eachother. Robin was about to run out of the hiding spot and go after them when Cyborg stopped him. "Chill man, we need to talk to her when she gets back. See what's going on. If we tell her we were spying on her she's gonna go crazy!"
Robin looked kind of jealous. He stopped what he was doing and said, "C'mon, we have work to do."

Chapter five: Robin
The Titans left back to the tower after what they had seen. It was a silent ride back home. Starfire continued to look at Robin with sad eyes the whole time.
"Friend Robin, are you all right?" she finally asked inturupting the silence.
"Yeah Star, it's just, I can't figure out why Raven wouldn't tell us about this. I mean, he's a criminal, and we need to take him into custody. She has him at the tip of her fingers, but won't take him in. I can't help but think why." robin replied.
"Well, dude, how do we know if this is even Red-X? Maybe Raven has a boyfriend she didn't want us to know about. So what?" BeastBoy said looking out the window.
"Look at the clues we were given. raven has been acting nervous around us ever since that Red-X incident, and she has gone out twice without telling us. And she still hasn't even told us what X said to her that one day when we were fighting. If you think about it guys, that has to be him."

They all debated on who this mysterious boy was. Most of them couldn't except the fact that Raven was lying to them about where she went and how she felt.
"Well man, maybe there's a good reason she won't tell us. maybe he's in some kind of trouble." Cyborg said.
"What kind of trouble could he possibly be in? He's a cold-hearted, selfish little,"
"Robin, have you ever thought, that half of the villains in the world become villains in the first place because they have bad pasts." Cyborg said cutting him off.
"Even if that was true, he's still breaking the law and has to be punished. We have him where we want him, but Raven's in the way, so I'm not sure what to do."
"We need to just talk to her dude. See what's going on her creepy mind." BeastBoy said.
"You do not think Raven is helping him in the robberies do you friends?" Starfire asked concerned.
"Oh, I hope not." Cyborg said.
"When raven comes home, we are going to sit her down and talk. Do not let her leave or go anywhere. We need to find out what's going on without showing that we know she's with him. That'll be too much drama, and she'll probably try to protect him. We have to catch him when Raven doesn't know." Robin said instructing the plan they were going to do.

They finally arrived at the tower, all tred out from the talking and confusion. They all fell onto the couch and started thinking. "Where do ya think she is now?" BeastBoy asked.
"Don't know..." Robin said. "I just hope she knows what she's doing."

After a few minutes Robin stood up and made his way to the hallway door. "I need some time to myself, think things over." he said.
The Titans nodded and let him be.

Robin walked into his plain room and sat on his bed with his head in his hands looking serious. "Why is she doing this? Could they be going out?" he thought aloud. His mask narrowed and he had a jealous snarl on his face. "That punk doesn't deserve to even be near her!" he yelled. He went up to his mirror and punched the glass. It shattered everywhere all over his floor and the bed. Then he kicked the mirror down. He went to his miniature table and pushed all the papers off, and ripped all of them up. He kicked his pictures down and threw all of his other uniforms onto the closet floor.
The Titans although far away from his room could hear all of the noise. They all rushed to his room and opened the door. They saw Robin crouching and breathing hard next to his bed. "Robin, what the heck did you do?" beastBoy asked in shock. "Are you really that angry? He's not that big a threat!" he yelled.
"Robin, I hate to see you this way. Please tell us what is wrong."
Robin finally looked up and looked to Starfire. "It's Raven. It's just, how can sh--"
"Robin! Listnen! If you're that upset then go find her!" Cyborg yelled. "Don't take your anger out on the Tower! Do you know how long it took us to get this together?"
"I'm sorry. It's just, I need to see her. I-I have to see her right now. I gotta go. I have to spy on them." Robin said wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Be careful Robin." Starfire said in a comforting way.
Robin nodded and he left his room. The Titans just watched him leave. "Is he always obssesed with every single villain he can't catch?" BeastBoy asked.
Cyborg gave him a cold stare. "Okay, I'll shut up." he said.
"Do ya think Robin's jealous?" Cyborg asked them.
Starfire's eyes widened. "Uh...Who is to know? I do not think he is jealous, but perhaps determined!" she said nervously. "I guess we need to come up with some questions to ask Raven when she comes back." Cyborg said. They both nodded and left. Starfire looked behind her before she left looking out the large window seeing Robin jump down. She had sad eyes as she watched him go. She quickly looked back to the boys and followed them back to the living room.
