Gunnar can not take the pain as long as he would hope, even as he scrambles towards the ropes. His arm outstretched, The Viking’s hand is still nearly six inches short of the rope he so desperately craves. Hutton pulls back on The Shatterpoint with all his might, the pain digging into Wuher like nothing he’s ever felt before, and he finds no choice but to do the inevitable. Gunnar slaps his hand down upon the mat repeatedly, howling in agony as Jim Hawkins throws his hand towards the outside, ending the match as the bell rings. Hutton holds onto The Shatterpoint for a moment longer, finally releasing his hold as “Indestructible” begins to flood the arena; the fans not overly excited about the end result of this match. Rolling away from Gunnar, Hutton pulls himself to his knees as he is handed the Undisputed Championship from Hawkins, holding the title high in the air in his right hand as Jim Hawkins raising his left hand. Everything seems perfect to The Rated X Superstar now, until Bob Saget starts to announce the winner of the match.

Saget: Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner and still Undisputed Champion of Internet Wrestling; The Rated X Superstar, Hutton-

But something isn’t right. Saget’s announcement comes to an end nearly through its entirety, and Hutton’s theme comes to a quick halt. For walking down the ramp followed by half a dozen Rated X Warriors is Zangetsu, his expression grim. The warriors armor themselves are strange, their ordinary black armor now adorned with red bicep pieces; their entire suits highlighted with gold accents. Zangetsu reaches the ring and moves towards the steps, the warriors staying put at the base of the ramp. Zangetsu climbs the steps quickly and crosses the apron before entering the ring, stepping forward to come face to face with The Rated X Superstar. Hutton already knows what Zangetsu is down here to do, his eyes telling the champion all he needs to know. His friend is completely torn between doing what he has been instructed to do and what might happen if he doesn’t. The two men simply stand and stare at the other, moments passing in the silence as the fans around them slowly seem to be realizing what may be happening. They also notice Ryan Storm sneaking his way through the crowd behind Hutton, climbing over the barricade and slowly making his way to the ring.

Brunswick: Just when things seem to be going so well for the champ, something like this is going to happen? It just isn’t right.

Smith: Not Zangetsu, there’s no way he’d do something like this. He’s Hutton’s… wait… No, it’s Ryan Storm!

Brunswick: He’s Hutton’s brother, and yet somehow I don’t think he’s coming out here to help the champion. God damn this is sickening.

Thankfully though, Hutton receives one final gift from his long time friend; with eyes in the back of his head. Zangetsu’s eyes drop down to his left and Hutton notices it, reading the meaning behind the shift from stare down to diversion. Someone is coming in behind him, and their intentions are strictly evil; Hutton looking back and nodding his head, thanking his friend for his final gift. Zangetsu steps forward, acting as if he intends to throw a solid punch at Hutton, but before he would ever have had a chance to connect, Ryan Storm’s arms lock around the waist of the champion. Ready for this, Hutton spins around behind Storm, shoving him forward into Zangetsu, the white fiend thrown into the ropes before giving a believable show of getting pushed through the top and second ropes and falling to the floor. Ryan Storm, meanwhile, spins around and charges The Rated X Superstar, aiming for a clothesline on his brother but Hutton ducks. The older of two siblings runs towards the ropes, his back colliding with them as he unconsciously plans his next move. Returning to his younger brother, Hutton drops his shoulder low, driving it as hard as he can into Storm’s stomach, the impact taking both men down to the mat with an X-Awakening.

Smith: And Hutton saw through all of it Josh! X-Awakening to Ryan; what did I tell you Josh?!

Brunswick: And amazingly enough, the champion fights his way out of an ambush. I can’t believe what is happening here.

Smith: This has got to be some power move by Ryan. Zangetsu wouldn’t do something against his best friend.

Brunswick: Regardless, whatever is happening can’t be good for The Rated X Superstar’s title reign.

Smith: Like I’ve told you, Hutton is Indestructible, just as his theme says. Whatever comes his way won’t stop him from keeping that gold.

Ryan clutches his stomach as he rolls out of the ring, landing hard before staggering away towards the warriors and Zangetsu. Storm motions to the warriors to move forward towards the ring but the white fiend shakes his head no. Zangetsu quickly mutters to Storm about losing the “element of surprise” and Ryan looks ready to bit his head off. Instead though, Storm seems to be in agreement with the former X-Division champion and the group begins to make their way backwards, up the ramp. Storm continues to hold his abdomen as he backs his way up the ramp, shouting threats at Hutton as the group works their way up to the stage. In the ring, Hutton climbs a turnbuckle closest to the ramp, his blood soaked face revealing a dark scowl towards his brother and best friend. The Rated X Superstar hoists his Undisputed Championship high into the air as he watches them step through the curtain and leave him alone in the arena.

Brunswick: I still can’t believe what in the hell has just happened here Doug. None of it makes any sense.

Smith: Whatever is happening, Hutton won’t let it stand in his way. He’ll find out whatever the hell is going on here and bring it to a quick and decisive end.

Brunswick: Regardless Doug, we’re out of time here tonight. I’m Josh Brunswick, and for Doug Smith, we thank you for joining us for Tough Love 2009!

The camera slowly begins to fades to black as it focuses on Hutton, The Undisputed Champion holding his championship high into the air as “Indestructible” resumes playing throughout the arena.
