woot, if this guy gets alot of help and support, he plans to create Jedi Knight 4.

This might be something to look into, Gets your mapping/skinning/moddeling tools ready.
I'll offer my share of help to him, and together, we'll get jk4!!! woot !! biggrin.gif

Bullcrap

Ever heard of Knights of the force or some crap like that. It got a ton of support the guy took the money and ran. Was a major scam. This sounds the same

Good find TK ...

If it is real it would be nice to see any sort of ongoing development of the JA series mods or new Engine. We'll watch it for sure and see how things go.

a project this big wont be off the ground for many years perhaps decades since they only have volunteers. and this community only demonstrates modding capable of the older engine. I think it'll fall flat.

TK,

I see that you applied for a mapper position for the upcoming mod:

http://linaxys.byethost8.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6

Best of luck with that. Based off of what I've seen it looks like their development team are indeed getting some pretty talented designers who are applying.

Anyone who wants to see this go to the link http://linaxys.byethost8.com then click on the volunteers section to see the various applicants work

Me and my father were talking about JK4... If any of you guys know of SWG they have a feature every Friday. SW is so hard licensed that GL has people check it every week. This guy cant call it JK4 and use the name Luke or make it SW based without Lucas having a freak. TBH this guy would be in hell if he went to far without looking at copyrights or license.

I am part of that team and they are really working hard on it. We were using the XREAL engine but now moved to a heavily modded HL2 engine.

Just getting back to JKA after a few years smile.gif

This seems cool, but I won't judge it, until it's finished, or if there are some pictures of what it looks like, or possible a video of it huh.gif
