Scooby the podenco arrived from Spain in mid-may and whilst his 3 friends when off to new homes, he is still stuck at the kennels
Although he seems to cope ok he is getting more and more agitated and is starting to lose weight again now. I chatted to Mo yesterday and she says if he does not get into a home in the next few weeks she will take him back to Spain!!! none of us want this.
Scooby is good with other dogs but can be a handful on the lead if he meets other dogs. He wasn't like this at first so I think he has lost some of his skills from being in kennels, as he lived in a home in Spain. He also lived with cats in Spain and so with a little retraining he should be good with cats once again in a new home.
Scooby is a lovely dog, very affectionate now and so playful. He loves having a doggy friend to play with but should also be ok as an only dog as he lived a lone in Spain.
If anyone can help poor Scooby please either call me on 07931348498, PM me or email southwestdawg@gmail.com
Thanks
Just giving Scooby a little bump.
He is still waiting in kennels for a foster/forever home and the situation is now getting desperate as I have more pressure to send him back to Spain which I really dont want to do. He deserves a safe home here, I just wish someone would fall for him
