After my Camp X excursion, the X7 developed a strange hissing near the bolt/ valve (?) area. I took her apart and checked all the O-rings and lubed everything up but it still hisses. If I charge my air tank up to 3000 psi and above it stops until the tank drops to 2000 psi.
Called Tippmann but they want me to send the part in but I'd rather fix it myself if possible. Any clues on why its hissing?

Since your tank is regulated to below 1000 PSI, a fluctuation between 3k and 2k PSI shouldn't make a difference.

Where is it leaking from?

Can't seem to tell. From what I can hear it seems to be located by the bolt and valve.

Try a different air tank. Your tank should be regulated down to 1000 (or lower), but might not be. Too much pressure from your air tank could be causing a problem.

I'll check it out but I've never had a problem with this tank and marker before.
