US*5 help, E Grip malfunction?

I am new to paintball and have acquired a PCS US*5 and the gun will not cock back when the e grip is on but will when the regular grip is on. I have shot this gun on full auto a couple of times before i bought it months before but will not cock back now. Am i just a noob and and need to do something before trying to cock it back.

take the gun apart and check the trigger housing, there may be something inside that may need to be replaced.
to tell ya the truth, i really dont know what might be the cause. what i do know is if the etrigger isnt turned on, you can cock it back but it wont fire. if thats the problem then thats normal. with out it on it wont trip the seer.

what could be hapening is that something could be shorting out on the board and the seer could be stuck in the trip possision. open up the egrip and see if you some how got paint in it or if you played in the rain, water. there would be an ozone type of smell comming from the board when its on if thats the problem.
sorry i couldnt be any more of a help. the only other thing i could suggest is taking it back to the shop you bought it from or if used a shop that could give it a quick once over and maybe fix it for you.

Another thing to do is check your battery. It's possible your battery is dead, leaving the solenoid in a position that the hammer won't catch on the sear.

Dead battery, bad sear, bad board... Turn it on and then tell us what happens.

Edit: If it works with the mech grip then it's not the sear, it's got to be something to do with the e-clip. Try cocking it with no clip in it. Dunno, check your e-clip for burs. Could be effecting the sear somehow.
