Hoorays! I heart RvB lots. And after watching that PSA when it came out my friends and I in fact did come up with our zombie plan. It basically included gathering everyone up onto a houseboat and heading up to alaska to hang with a buddy I know up there.

At any rate, my contribution for today is for any of you who never got to watch any Animaniacs when you were young. It was a wonderful cartoon that was both entertaining and educational; something completely foreign to modern cartoons, it seems.

I've seen that before, I always felt so sorry for the poor confused frog. Apparently insects and frogs are the best for levitating because frogs have wet skin and insects have exoskeletons. Must be the minerals in the exoskeletons that help.

The BBC America trailer is less.. er.. red.. and has more plot info, but this one's SO much better in my opinion. The other one makes the series look like some kinda cheapshot american action series. No offence, but urgh.

Plants with eyes- that is awesome. Absolutely awesome. I may be biased as a phytogeek, but that is the absolute pwn.

Hagfish- that's really cool. You know hagfish aren't really fish, right? They're officially not considered vertebrates anymore; although they and the vertebrates do form a valid clade with tunicates and lancelets as outgroups, they actually have an only slightly elaborated notochord, so they lack the defining synopomorphie of the vertebrates. Just thought I'd share...

Levitation- that's cool. Wonder what that frog thought, though... o_O

Powerthirst- that's definitely a WTF. 400 babies...

Apocalypse Pony- *dies laughing* I like Death Pony's voice change...

Dingdong/demon face- o_O yes, ding-dongs are in the same category as twinkies. They are actually made by the same people. And yes, they are chocolate, they are a half-fake (talking about chemical content here) chocolate cake, filled with the same sort of chemical cream as twinkies that America is addicted to, and covered with chocolate. My grandmother eats them. I don't. I used to occasionally at her house, and then I read the ingredient label.

Darth Maul- nice. He didn't get enough attention, seriously. I laughed at the shackles too.

HP Particle Man- I love that song. And Ron was the best Person Man ever...

Hannibal Lector- um... big WTF there... I liked the "what's your flavah" one best... that made me laugh.

Jekyll- um, ok. I know nothing about the show, so yeah.

Street Sharks- OMGWTF? cheesy Moreus of DOOM...

I luuurve the cellular biology video, I first encountered it through Turbofanatic. It gives me goosebumps at certain points.


The thing with the iPhones is awesome, I especially like thier gloves.
It might be better if the beer song weren't labeled bear song though. I actually have that song on my playlist under They Might Be Giants, but it's listed there as a Weird Al song. When I search the internets I find an equal number of listings for the song for BOTH artists. This is very irritating.

Here are two of my favorite theremin videos, mainly for Dragoonfliy, who is building one! They are amazingly different, but both very awesome.

Bill Bailey discovers something wonderful.
Bill Bailey is a british comedian, and I luff him to bits. If you'd like to see the whole show, which is called Part Troll (no he unfortunately isn't actually part troll, but he looks it) I recommend it! Bill is funny how he takes a while to get warmed up, but once he gets going he's unstoppable. He's also a very, very talented musician.


Of course, a large majority of my favorites are Doctor Who related, and I won't put any up unless anyone asks me to because I don't want to swamp people in my fangirlishness.
