The Sand

[Haley James]

Get a tan, play some fun beach games, or find something else to do in the sand. If you get bored of that you can always head on up to a beach house or down to the water.

[Nathan Scott]

"So, tell me the truth. Saw II. Did you like it or not?" Nathan asked Haley as they walked along the beach, his arm still around her shoulders.

[Haley James]

"I think I might have, actually, kinda liked it." Haley answered as she leaned her head over and rested it on his shoulder as they walked. "But like I said really gorey."

[Nathan Scott]

"Yeah, well it sounds to me like the only reason you liked the movie was because I was right next to you," Nathan smirked.

[Haley James]

Haley laughed. "No... but I wouldn't say that I didn't like that part." She said as she lifted her head off his shoulder and looked up at him. "You made a good shield for scary things."

[Nathan Scott]

"Yeah, I must admit that I do," Nathan smirked. He leaned in and kissed her softly.

[Haley James]

Haley kissed him back then smiled up at him. "So I didn't imagine that part last time. Good. Didn't want that to be the case."

[Nathan Scott]

Nathan laughed, leaning in and kissing her again. "Yeah, you weren't imagining anything," he smiled.

[Haley James]

Haley smiled and returned her head to it's resting position on his shoulder. After a moment she got to thinking. "Nathan, I don't really want like interrupt all of the happy and smiling and kissing, but this is kinda big and I need to ask you something."

[Nathan Scott]

Nathan adjusted his head a little bit to look over at her. "What do you want to ask?"

[Haley James]

"What is this?" Haley asked, looking up at him. "I mean... Are we friends that happen to kiss, or more than friends, or something else? Cause this is really big and I'm going to need something to tell Lucas when I tell him, plus I wanna know too."

[Nathan Scott]

Nathan looked over at her and smiled. "This can be whatever it is you want it to be. I just want you to know that these past few weeks with you have been some of the best, Haley," he told her, honestly.

[Haley James]

Haley smiled back at him then leaned up and kissed him softly on the lips. "Does that mean I won't get in trouble if I start throwing around the word 'boyfriend?'" She asked, just making sure.

[Nathan Scott]

"Not at all," Nathan smiled, leaning down, pulling Haley in for another kiss. "As long as I can call you 'the girl who I like to fool around with'," Nathan joked, a smile on his face.

"Hey!" Haley said and hit him lightly on the arm then laughed. "You do that and I'll... do something." She threatened then laughed again. "Okay, so I suck at being threatening right now but I'll come up with something later."
