where is everyone?

I'm back 81091416king.gif

I'm doing ok for the most part but my grandmother passed away back in march and then a month later my uncle too. I'm fine but my aunt must really be torn apart inside losing both her brother and sister so close together gssad.gif

Other than that everything else has been pretty good, found myself getting really into foreign films and going on spending spree's for loads of dvd's at a time. Weather's been nice and my hay fever hasn't reared it's ugly head, so maybe it's not going to be an annoying summer this year.

How's everyone else doing?

Looking forward to this weekend, should be going to the imax to see the new star trek movie with a few friends. Looks awesome, always liked star trek as a kid but it did get stale over the last 15 years or so imo but it looks like JJ has really made something cool. rockon.gif

The film was pretty awesome, a few plot holes here and there but awesome for a summer blockbuster. Got to say that Pine made a great Kirk, really surprised at how well he did, great cast overall, especially bones.

Also seen the new Terminator movie, eer it's ok on it's own but in comparison to the first two (I will not mention the 3rd... EVER) it's not that great. It has some great action scenes but the story just has some massive plot holes that you could drive a tanker through. The editing is a bit iffy in places and you can tell that some scenes were cut. I love bale as an actor especially in American Psycho but in this he just didn't seem to be trying, maybe it was the script or the fact it seemed he was only on the screen for half the screen time, hmm I dunno.

I've got a pile of foreign films that I still haven't got round to watching, I spent about £60 for about 12 films the same day I went to see trek. Here's a list:

The Chaser
PTU
Election
Typhoon
Atomised
20th Century Boys
Exiled
Ma Femme Est Une Actrice
Initial D
Angel A
Romanzo Criminale
He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not
District 13
Chrysalis
36
Princess Aurora
The Wave
Cold Prey
Chaos

That isn't even the full list redface.gif
Some of them were £2 so I just went mad lol
I think I now have more foreign dvd's than I do anything in english.

I'm also tempted to get the Miami Vice boxset, I've had an 80's vibe recently icon_biggrin.gif
