game addiction to Dragon Age: Origins

I hit 75 hours since last Wednesday yesterday. biggrin.gif

And for some reason I started writing a new story this month anyway, mainly because I had a genius idea I had to get down on paper. After I edit it I'll probably post the beginning up...

Yay, trumpet playing!

Well, another year, another failed NaNoWriMo. Too bad. At least it has shown me I can spare time to write two or three times a week... Which is more than I usually do. Maybe it'll even stick past November this year.

The 'Dont' in the phrase 'Dont you get it?' should have an apostrophe in it, between the 'n' and the 't'.

Heh, practice makes perfect flaxes. And the fact that I can write straight off the top of my head might help...
I think I'm gonna start aiming for 10,000 words a day as soon as my last exam is over. I figure it's not much of an effort if I can manage 5k in about 3 or so hours. Plus, it'll feel good to say I wrote a 100,000 word novel in 30 days. Or more if I manage. tongue.gif

Most I managed was 6000 words in one day. It was in Florida. During a Tropical Storm. There were only two working computers.

Yeah, they didn't like me much tongue.gif

My attempt has been saved!

I wrote 1K in 30 minutes. That's a easily the fastest I've done so far. happy.gif

Nothing that can't be replicated with a bit of effort and dedication.

Really, stop being green and write every day and you'll finish. Heck, I wrote literally at all hours of the morning, and a good deal of the story was written at unearthly hours.

I also wrote while sick and under an immense workload.

If I could find the time to do so, you can to.

Wooooooooooooooooooooo!

50,169 words and and a winner!

Wooooooooooooooooooooo!

Now to actually finish the chapter, and make some sort of worth while ending to the story before drafting epically. dry.gif I'm going to cry when I see the amount I've murdered English.

Oh, and if anyone wants the manuscript, be sure to pm. Since nobody seems to care if I post it or not. laugh.gif

Pity I didn't make it to 100k. Life sort of got in the way, and it's harder to write 10k words in a day then I thought. Oh well. There's always next year. And by then I'll have had a lot of writing practice tongue.gif.
