Tomes of War - A Scenario Library

I've just recently started a new website which will essentially be a grand library of scenarios for warhammer players. So you'll be able to search for a scenario based on the kind of game you want to play (races things like that)

It's in its real infancy at the moment (Alpha stages really) but if you want to take a look its at www.tomesofwar.net

Eventually you'll be able to add scenarios to the database using the website but i havent finished that bit yet so if you have any tales of battle you want to share, stick them in the forum there and i'll add them manually.

I working into the site some kind of profile system so any scenarios you submit will be credited to your forum account... dunno what im gonna do with that yet though.

Any suggestions for the site are also welcome (actually im begging for suggestions) on the forum or you can reply to this thread if you like.

Also i've cast my admin warding spell (and asked Zog) so admins cant scold me for advertising Back i say! Yar!

Why not use a wiki format?
I undertsand if you want to be original, but it seems an awful lot of hassle to create something similar when you can use an existing system.

I did consider using a wiki but i wanted to have a system which was more user-centric rather than content based. Wikis have a habit of being very impersonal.

There were a couple of reasons i decided against a wiki. I wanted a PHP challenge (isnt that pathetic).

I guess essentially what i was going for was CoolMiniOrNot.com but for fluff... coolfluffornot?

Sounds like a good idea. I'm not much of a programmer so I can't really help there. But you have a good idea there. Expanding would be really nice though. Make it a general scenario, even start a hub for rpg campaign storylines and whatnot. That would be cool.
