 I didn't fall for it, I assumed it was some strange glitch. Still, nice pne.

Perhaps you could have made an Easter Fluff-A-Thon topic as well -_-

Darmort - April 1, 2010 06:29 PM (GMT)
This would have been better if you could have made everyone admins so the ACP actually shows up.

Still, woulda been good if I didn't know Invisionfree better. :P Nice one, for all it's worth :D

This is happy! It's a 'Hey i can see what the admins are saying!' thing. And it sounds like you two were fooled, as you thought it was something other than an april fools joke ;)

Did anyone deal out some good april fools jokes?

HLY - April 2, 2010 09:31 PM (GMT)
at my drama goup, someone had a full box-worth of tea bags fall on their head from a door top, then annoyed ran through the next door as quick as possible... smiley should give away the next result

Make April Fools jokes happy is much harsher, I find. You get someone's hopes up, and then immediately dash them. Negative ones depress them a little, granted, but are happier in the long term once the victims become aware its a joke, as the fear and depression disappears. Would you rather hear that the site was shutting down, and then get told that it was a joke, or get told that the site was gonna add a whole new load of content, and then that promise never get fulfilled?

In other news, Google did some good ones, as usual. But they didn't compare to CADIE last year. Oh, and another that made me chuckle was a Cambridge student newspaper announcing they were stripping Nick Griffin of his degree. Which, to add extra humour, The Sun picked up as an actual news story and published it on its front page.
