Master of Lecai - April 13, 2008 09:08 PM (GMT)
Now i dont mind personally and the third intrigues me alot, and im prepared to run it.
Zog the Stout - April 13, 2008 09:09 PM (GMT)
The third. We've had 2, they both failed, but they're still awesome :D
HLY - April 13, 2008 09:12 PM (GMT)
can I combine 2 and 3 please, making an adventure (undetermined as of yet, nothing too big) and one dude is trying to stop them
Master of Lecai - April 13, 2008 09:14 PM (GMT)
Ofocurse. Whose is the unbacked up vote?
Avaris - April 13, 2008 09:15 PM (GMT)
3, provided it can keep going for once...
HLY - April 13, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
well, I hope it does keep going
there fun, sepcaily the realm one (I wanted to kill VD :( )
gladius2 - April 13, 2008 09:18 PM (GMT)
I'm not sure if Ipressed view results ;)
I vote for no. 3
Master of Lecai - April 13, 2008 09:19 PM (GMT)
Venereal Disease? Lol...
Problem is then I'll have to think up a storyline.
Any preferences on setting.
HLY - April 13, 2008 09:23 PM (GMT)
a place with dwarves, also in a town, where subterfuge can be good
maybe a bounty hunt with one person helping the prey by 'removing' thehunters
gladius2 - April 14, 2008 12:03 AM (GMT)
There is a spy, and an assassin, normally...
I was thinking of acoiding WH...
But how about inquisitor?
Inquisitors are always at eachother's throats.
The problem arises when we have to chose an ordo, or whatever they call it, though, because those are publicly known, nay, touted things, and it would immediately make you suspicious if some one was of an opposed belief to you...
I really like the idea(and this could work with dwarves, but also with guardsmen, or any panicked group) of a group of the leaders being trapped under ground, most likely, though it could be somehwere else, by sabotage. The traitors would know a way out, by which they could tunnel out far easier than the other ways, but first they will try to destroy the others. It could be part of a coup attempt, or merely traitors in the ranks of soldiers.
I really like the ideas of dwarves being stuck underground, and full of distrust for one another...
All this makes me think of twenty eight days later...the kind of collapse of social structure, and at each other's throatsness...
Master of Lecai - April 14, 2008 11:46 AM (GMT)
How about a bunch of Guardsmen leaders underground after on a very recently subjugated planet(we're talking Horus Heresy timelines)?
Or if a fantasy element is used i think we need to steer clear of dwarfs. They're too honour and oath bound to make a believable plot no?
HLY - April 14, 2008 12:24 PM (GMT)
ok, no dwarfs then, elves? there all about intruige and stuf
or, brainstorm, a bucnh of chaos champions competing for there gods gaze
Flailing Axes - April 14, 2008 03:03 PM (GMT)
People! Why on earth restrict our options like this? All we need is a location, we can easily create reasons for elves/dwarves/humans being there. I'm loving HLy's idea, but i would like to modify it, I voted 2 btw. Chaos worshippers, working together under the eye of tzench to crush the Empire. One of them, only one, is uncertain, over time we can develop uncertainty to a test, redemption, conversion, betrayal, or anything we can come up with.
Zog the Stout - April 14, 2008 04:20 PM (GMT)
Because RAU/TAU is not a freestyle type of RPG. It needs structure and limitations to work. See the two examples (HAU and TAU) in this Forum to see what I mean.
Flailing Axes - April 14, 2008 04:24 PM (GMT)
? You post was all the way at the start.....was that still directed at me? In any case I'd like to participate, when do we start?
HLY - April 14, 2008 04:26 PM (GMT)
as zog says, RAU is where:
1) A group of RPers are trapped somewhere, and they have to be trapped
2) one or more character is a traiotor weho, over each day (represented by a set amount of real time) lills someone at night
3)the other RPers job is to find and remove this heratic
Flailing Axes - April 14, 2008 04:32 PM (GMT)
I've read them ye, however you may have noticed that I didn't vote for that format, and I dont particually like them as much as the others. I don't mind if it comes to us doing one, I just....prefer having a different scheme to heresy.
HLY - April 14, 2008 04:45 PM (GMT)
well, we have 8 members (who are regulars) and 4 votes on an RAU so that looks like it's gonna win
if you wanna do a non RAU RP, start one yourself ^_^
Flailing Axes - April 14, 2008 06:23 PM (GMT)
I shall *wanders off down the wrong coridoor*
TheAdmiral - April 14, 2008 07:02 PM (GMT)
Vampires perhaps? Everybody seems to like Vampires (judging on the amount of Vampire related stories) and they kill eachother quite often. A family fight in the Drachenhof? That'd be cool, spooky corridors, hidden chambers, killing and oldskool horror!
I vote for that.
Zog the Stout - April 14, 2008 07:38 PM (GMT)
What an awesome idea. Von Carstein Wars :D.
Loving that one, Admiral :)
Flailing Axes - April 14, 2008 08:00 PM (GMT)
.........*oppertunity to bester Zog at his own game* I'm in.
HLY - April 14, 2008 08:18 PM (GMT)
von carstein wars, thats awesome
we so need to go with that, that has my vote
