He's not the only one. It makes me really mad when some idiot is doodling along in the outside or even middle lane when they is nothing at all in the inside lane. I've been forced to undertake some recently because they seem to be getting worse.
And yesterday I was driving along a road with a speed limit of 60mph and the car in front of me did 40mph along the whole bloody road. And there was too much traffic coming the other way to overtake. You should have seen the queue of traffic behind!

We definitely need to come up with a way of removing these idiots from the roads.
Another that really bugs me is when people are driving along with their rear fog lights on! What is the best way to tell them to turn them off? I tend to drive past them, pull in in front of them and flash my own fog lights at them. Never know if it works though as I'm already in front of them by then.
Oh and idiots driving around at night with their front fog lights on, but their main head lights switched to side lights. Surely that is illegal.
And just remembering another. I have seen quite a few cars driving along with their brake lights stuck on. How can you warn them of that? Or are there some nobs out there wiring them up like that these days? If so I would love to hear them explain that to the Police.

It is a weird fact of nature than many so-called drivers are uncomfortable at any speed over 40 mph, so while they happily break the speed limit in 30 mph areas, they never exceed 40 mph in 60 mph areas. I do wonder if they avoid motorways altogether, although you do sometimes see them in the nearside lane holding up the lorries.
Not that they are quite as bad as one guy I know who took driving lessons once and decided he would not be prepared to exceed 20 mph in any circumstances as it terrified him. Fortunately he had the sense to decide never to drive.
Regards,
Mike.

I know/have known of many people that will not drive on motorways.
My Grandparents were one case. My Grandfather would never use them at all and would instead spend hours with a map book plotting a route to avoid them all. This was in the 1970's though so not so bad back then. Then when he died my grandmother learnt to drive and also refused to ever use a motorway, and I don't think she actually ever did.
And many friends of my parents are the same. A friend of my mum's took an hour longer than my mum to arrive at the same location on a day trip leaving from their work because she drove on some really bad b-roads to avoid the motorway.
Very mad!
Another one that is annoying me at the moment is in regard to roadworks on motorways. At the moment the M27/A27 is undergoing major roadworks which are slowly creeping along the whole length of it. This is to replace all of the central reservation metal barriers with big ugly concrete walls instead. This must be costing them a fortune, and why? EEC regulations I bet! And I also bet the French and Italians are not being made to do the same thing!
Anything the annoying thing about these roadworks is that the lanes have been narrowed as is often the case with such roadworks, and a speed of 50MPH has been set. In addition they have placed speed camera over these sections ever 500 or so yards. But the thing that really annoys me is how all the cars drive in the middle lane and not in the inside lane, which was the hard shoulder. Then you get one car going slower than all of those in the outside lane! Why? Why are they not all in the inside lane! And where are the police to sort all of these arseholes out!
