The forums been up for a year now. I just want to thank everyone who's come here and continues to post. Let's see if we can keep it going for another year without too many people losing interest(some new blood would be nice). |

Thanks to me 1337(yeah, right!) Photoshop skills, we now have a new banner...the old one was good, but change is good too every now and then...
Tell me what you think of it(specifically if you think we should revert to the old one, or change this one slightly, or if you have a better one to use!). |

As requested, I've added a system that will allow you to block posts/PMs from a certain member. The new features can be accessed through "My Controls" and will be on the bottom left hand side. If you don't see them, check your plugins(NoScript) to make sure you aren't blocking any scripts(the IP is 209.85.x.x, not z10.invisionfree.com for this script). |

It was brought to my attention that the personal photo option in the member profile area wasn't working. I'm just letting everyone know that it's functional now so you can post a personal photo or any photo you like, just no porn please.
Note: The photo limit size is 500 kb. |

I've decided to change the forum's email address to a shared account, rather than my personal public email account. When you click the "Report Post" button, the emails will now be sent to octane.support@gmail.com and you can also manually send emails there if you need to get in touch with the moderating/admin staff. |

jimhitchc0ck is now the moderator for boards in the "General" section of the forum, so you all better start showin' him some respect!
There are still atleast 3 moderator positions available for "The Church," "Sports," and "Gaming" sections, and possibly a fourth for "The Forum" section. Feel free to PM an admin if you're interested in becoming a moderator. |

Ok...As I'm sure you can tell, I've revamped the layout of this forum...Some new changes include, former Moderators are now Super Moderators, two new User Groups were added, "Crusader," and "Crusade Leader," due to a request from Ulmo. If you'd like to become a "Crusader," PM an Admin to have them change you(other admins cough*poovine*cough), please discuss requests with another admin or a Crusade Leader before changing a Member to Crusader.
Also, since I've changed the way Moderators behave, there will be five new openings for moderators(one for each of the sections). If you are interested in filling one of those positions, PM an admin, with why you feel qualified, and the current moderating team will discuss it as a group before changing you.
If you have any other suggestions, feel free to add them to the Suggestions Forum, or PM me. |
