Stretching an arm into the air as he let out a tired yawn, Sajokai closed one eye and smacked his lips lightly before sitting up properly in his chair. He'd been up practically all night these past few days, reading up on books about farming and the like. It was odd; he had never really pegged himself as the farming type, but ever since he'd stumbled across a farm on the island, he'd been fascinated by it.

Since Kenis and Lucas had quit the band and moved elsewhere, he was left on his own. He was happy, thankful that he had enough funds in the bank to buy another house on a patch of land, and all the other necessities. He just hoped he would be up to the task; but, from what he read, farming didn't seem that hard. Sajokai had also picked up a few books on tools and shipping; he'd need to get use to gathering items in order to make money.

How long had it been since he'd last worked at something? Well, he of course had worked hard at becoming a singer, but since Dave's death almost two years ago, things had never been the same for the band. They all needed to move on and, surprisingly, Kenis had been the first to quit and leave. Sajokai had honestly thought Lucas would be the one. And Amy? He wondered, momentarily, how she was doing.

She'd grown up, finally. It had taken her a long time, but eventually she had come to terms with how her feelings weren't doing anything else but harming others. She'd moved away from Obsidian shortly after Lucas and Kenis. Sajokai had gotten a letter from her recently; apparently she was now working at opening her own bakery, and had met a nice boy that she seemed to be getting along with.

A small smile crossed Sajokai's lips as he turned the page of the book, his eyes scanning over the instructions on how to properly milk a cow, and how to collect eggs from chickens. Yeah, things seemed to be going alright.

Brie walked around, surprisingly, without her briefcase. No, she couldn't work on her art today, instead, she would would read up on her usual myths and legends. After all Brie had a deep love for such things as fairy tales. And she believed that some of them might even be true.

Brie took out a book, 'Myths of the Obsidian' was the title of the book. Brie instantly nosedived into her book as she walked and read at the same time, oblivious to whatever happened around her. Her eyes sparkled with contentment, and appeared as if she was dreaming. Brie like reading about these thing, they were so much more interesting than what people called, 'the real world' and they didn't have any limits to their creativity. Unlike the life Brie lived before she ran away.

Brie's eyes suddenly widened when she felt something catch her ankle, perhaps a pile of books, as she plummeted towards the ground...... again. This time she literally nosedived into her book, unable to see what was around her, or if she landed on something important, she looked up from her book with a dumb and irritated look on her face. "Ow..." was all she managed to mutter.

Okay, so maybe setting some of his books on the floor wasn't a good idea. Sajokai hadn't expected anyone to trip on it though, so to say he was surprised by the sound of someone falling was an understatement. Blinking he glanced up from his book. He raised an eyebrow as he stared down at the girl was who now face first on the floor. Smiling, Sajokai leaned slightly off the side of his chair, his arm dangling against his knee, his other elbow resting on the table.

"Sorry, that was my fault. Should've left my books there." He let out a tiny chuckle, his eyes narrowing lightly. Getting up from his seat, Sajokai grabbed hold of the woman and lifted her onto her feet. Rubbing his hands together as he plopped back down in his chair, he casually glanced over at the book the woman was holding. "Obsidian Fairytales, huh? I'm reading about farming myself." Sajokai gave a slight nod toward the books he had.

"Thank you," Brie said after the man helped her up, "it's my fault for not watching where I was going." After saying this, Brie remembered the dark man she kept running into before, and when he said she need 'to watch where she was going'. Brie rolled her eyes at this though, and looked towards the man that helped her. She was almost thrown off entirely by his white hair and strange colored eyes.

Brie nodded her head in response to what the white haired guy said, and a soft smile curled on her face once again. "So are you planning on being a farmer?" Her face showed some curiosity in his answer that would probably be quite obvious.
