Beforehand, there will be voting for the Goddess and the King (so be sure to keep your eye out and vote!). The party will be set up outside of Chrysocolla Estate. It is a formal party, so make sure you come dressed up in your best clothes! There will be dancing, but the main event of the day is the picking of the Goddess and King, their first dance for the New Year, and then, finally, they will each pick one person from the festival to go up in the hot air balloon and spread summer seeds all over the land. Everyone else will release their balloons, as this all stands for offerings and respect to the Harvest Goddess which watches over the island.
Special seeds will be sold here, at the festival. |
