Winter 25 year 9
3:00 pm
Strolling along some unknown path, Leanne hummed to herself. She normally was a cheerful person, but the previous week had been nothing but work. Desperate for a chance to go off by herself, she had begun walking down some of the numerous paths around Obsidian. Leanne smiled as she realized how unusual it was for her to be walking alone for the sake of being alone. The situation would be different if she met anyone all the way out here, though. She wouldn't be choking herself with worries about finding a home and source of income but rather enjoying herself. Indeed, that was what she wanted to do most at the moment.
The end of the path brought her to a field. A field full of flowers. How unusual that flowers were blooming when Leanne herself was nearly shivering! Not only was the arrangement and color marvelous, but the area had a lifted feel to it. It was almost as if some hidden warmth could tug a person away from the cold and send them to a faraway place where it was always spring. Content and slightly drowsy, Leanne laid herself down in the vast fields of flowers and gazed up to the puffy clouds, her breath coming out in white clouds. The serenity of it all found Leanne nearly drifting off.
