Hair: Mary has light brown hair that is kept in a pony tail and high up. She cut her hair in half when she turned fourteen. When down, it goes to about the upper part of her back. She keeps it constantly up, however. Along the left side of her hair are pins put together to show the number twenty two in Roman numerals.
Eyes: Her eyes are blue and shine with care, happiness, and innocence.
Face: Her face is quite smooth and her cheeks are almost a permanent light shade of red from being sickly every now and then. Besides that, it is often free of any and all blemishes. Her skin is a healthy shade, neither pale or tan.
Body: She is about 5'0", a much more weaker girl then her brother. There size difference allows her to hide behind him if she is scared. She has the better, thicker clothing of the two, Alexander insisting she get the better clothing to keep herself warm and healthy. In the winter she is covered in the heaviest clothing she has and in the summer is dressed in lighter clothing, maybe even dresses. Curves have started to appear in her body frame as puberty has started.

Personality: Mary, unlike her brother, is very friendly and caring. She has no problem with adults and likes to talk to them, often annoying her brother. If someone scares her she'll run behind her brother for protection. She loves flowers and appreciates relaxing out in nature and such.

She too adores time with her brother and getting to play with him. She certainly appreciates what he is doing but dislikes it could get him in so much trouble if he gets caught. She is very scared to lose him. Despite her sickly form she is full of energy and quite cheerful. She loves animals and has before taken care of weak, stray animals until they can fend for themselves in nature once more. While Mary may often be a gentle girl, she is easily upset by negative talks about her brother, even if he brings it on himself by how he acts. She carries a deep wound at how she feels like she fails at managing to make Alex nicer to people.

So hopefully she can get to talk to him soon. Through the seasons Alex and Peter have had very tense moments. Despite it Peter has yet to fire Alex, deeply touching Mary. When she confessed to him how she thought her and her brother were burdens to them, Peter shot it down and comforted her. She can't deny how she sees an older Alex when she looks at him. Mary has grown a bit more attached to Peter since Freya and Jane have left the farm. She sees how sad he is most of the time and tries her best to take care of him like Freya would. She truly does see Alex when she looks at him. It makes her feel at ease near him.

Mary tries to talk to him when she can which unfornately is few and far between when she gets pulled away by another friend. Mary met Abigail when both of them were out walking their dogs. Mary met her mostly due to Spark detecing Dizzy nearby and having dragged his owner over. The two owners got along well enough as did the dogs. Mary wouldn't mind if she saw Abigail again and more then likely will, her being a veterinarian on the island after all.

Mary goes to school with Adrienne and partnered up with her during the Snowball War of Year 08. Though Jane's team lost the war, Adrienne and Mary still were a good duo. Mary likes the older girl and wouldn't mind getting to know her more. Especially since Adrienne knows Alex, which Mary finds nice considering they are complete opposites.

When Mary met Freya later that night after walking around with Jane she was impressed by the lady's cooking, it something she hoped to reach with her own. And Freya certainly seemed nice like Jane. Despite their short interaction she could already feel that she could really get to like Freya. As the seasons passed her and Freya began to learn more on each other, Mary looking up to Freya as a role model. Freya is definitely the mother of the house, keeping everyone in line and keeping the house together. Mary does miss Freya since she has left. She knows though that Freya simply needed to start living on her own and doesn't blame her. She hopes to see her again sometime.

Over the time that Mary has spent with Jane, their friendship just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Mary looks up to the older girl, often times trying to be like her. Her hair doesn't stay in pig tails as well nor can she play the viola like Jane can. But, she will do her best to always be as optimistic as Jane. She wouldn't mind staying near her all day really. She does hope one day they could be best friends actually.


Kayla Murphy

Kayla and Mary hit it off quickly and became great friends almost instantly. Mary certainly doesn't mind this awesome mechanic girl as a friend, even taking an interest in the machinery that Kayla deals with, wondering if it's something new she can learn.

Mary doesn't get to hang out with Aria as often as she would like. But when they have in the past, it always went well. Both of them are rather friendly so it's no surprise that they can always find something to talk about.

Mary met Hikari during an early morning at school. She was new so Mary helped her get her class figured out and showed her around. She was a pretty quiet girl but Mary didn't let that bother her. She felt like she got along with Hikari pretty well for their brief time together. They've hung out a lot and usually can never stop talking with each other. Mary even happily learned sign language to make things easier conversing with Hikari.
