As such the age minimum for this site is 16. Please don't lie if you're younger, the content is potentially not suitable for you. Respect There is going to be enough conflict in character so please don't disrespect each other OOC. Any OOC conflct of any degree will be met with harsh warning. If you have a problem with some one, PM Rich or Fated.Star then let us sort it out. Respect each other and the game will work much better. OOC drama As with respect we DO NOT want OOC drama either. The point of an RPG board is to create drama through characters. Leave OOC drama out, such things are not for this sort of board. We will warn you, especially in the CBOX. Activity We all have lives outside of RP, everyone knows that, but what's the point of joing a board if you are never going to be active? Please try your hardest to make an appearance as often as possible. Try not to leave threads hanging for more than a day. If you are going to be away for longer let us know in the absence forum. Application Once registered you will have a week (7 days) to make an application. If you don't finish your application within this time your account will be deleted. Abuse of Power In the heroes universe it's possible to have incredibly different scales of power. From the smallest ability, say the ability to make plants grow, through to some of the largest, power mimicry or stealing, a gifted individual in this universe has the potential to change many things and abuse them. Heroes: Consequences is all for powerful heroes and villains, the Canon's are an example, but we also favour the weaker ones. Please take this into consideration when making your character choice. Whatever you do DON'T overly abuse your power!!! We will be watching you carefully; as we will with each other. Applying Registration Please register with first and last name in all lower capitals. I don't want to see sylareatsbrains123 or cheerleadersrock789. If you mess up on the spelling, PM an Admin and we can help you out. Completion Please follow the template. Any changes made to the original template and your character will not be accepted, no buts. Real People We prefer celebrities as Avatars here at Heroes: Consequences. However most importantly do not use Anime or Cartoon characters, such applications will not be allowed. Zero Perfection A fact of life is that nobody is perfect, perfect characters will not be accepted. Everyone has weaknesses, no more so than Heroes & Villains who fight each other everyday. Just because you have access to superhuman power doesn't mean your the greatest individual to ever grace the planet (although you may think you are). Originality Unless playing a Canon please be original and creative! Try not to steal your background from existing fictional or non-fictional characters. You may take personality traits or elements of such histories, just don't copy completely. Character limit For now are character limit is set at three (Max 1 Canon). Any more would risk stretching the player to the point of letting some slip in favour of others. However should you wish to have more than three, and good grounds for doing so, we shall usually accept. Good grounds include: One of your current characters is only active under certain circumstances I.e. in his office or Jury business, one of your characters is rarely used but still important. All we ask is each character has a seperate account and if going over the standard three good reasoning for doing so. Roleplaying Posting Please post in third person not first. E.g. "Max walked into the bathroom and saw the gun lying on the floor" not "I walk into the bathroom and see the gun lying on the floor". Post Minimums Ultimatly we look for at least two/three paragraphs as an intermediate to advanced board. More is preferable. This is not to mean we don't understand that sometimes, mostly within conversation, it's hard to stretch that far before a reply from the other player. In these situations we are lenient. Adult Content Sex, Drugs, Gore; these are all allowed on this board. The conflict between the Company & the Jury, Heroes & Villains is a dark one. As such adult themes will occur throughout. Just make sure you put the R-Rated in the topic description. Post-able Threads If you see a thread that has [OPEN] or does not have a name next to it then you can post. Therefore if you want it to be for someone specific place their name in the topic descriptor E.g. [JOE BLOGGS]. If the thread is meant for a certain amount of people then you cannot join unless you have permission from ALL the members of that particular thread. [OPEN] Debate Also please note that even though a thread says [OPEN] the nature of it may have changed since the beginning. Please be polite and check before entering if several posts have been made as a storyline may be being weaved. Zero God-moding God-Moding: this is when your character controls another character. Like if you were Adrian and posted saying Adrian pushed Joe off the cliff sending him hurtling fifty feet toward the ground below. Heroes: Consequences This forum is here for people to have fun so I guess the best, & most important, rule of all is HAVE FUN!!!
