Personality: Very fair teacher. Enjoys practical lessons much more than theoretical ones. Remembers his experiences at Hogwarts seeing as he was there not long ago. Uses his knowledge of students to adapt to their needs.

History:
Born in Risely to a young witch and wizard, Michael didn't know his parents for long. A few months before his third birthday, his parents were murdered, by followers of Voldemort.

Mike was raised by his Aunty. An excited little witch who made sure he knew as much about the wizarding world as possible. When he arrived at Hogwarts he was sorted into Gryffindor, although the hat almost put him into Ravenclaw.

Mike didn't do well at most of his subjects. Only barely passing most of them. He did however, show an exceptional skill at Charms. Taking a much shorter amount of time to master spells than the rest of his classmates.

In fact, in his sixth year, he managed to perfectly execute a speechless accio charm on his 3rd try. Gaining 5 passing N.E.W.T.s (An Outstanding in Charms), Mike was well on his way to becoming a Ministry of Magic Auror.

After serving as an Auror for a few years, he was asked to act as an instructor. He served as the Auror instructor for Advanced Charms. He discovered while doing this, that his passion lied in education.

He applied for a place teaching at Hogwarts. The current headmaster (who had been his Charms teacher previously) accepted him with open arms.

This is Mike's third year serving as Charms professor.

RP Example:

Professor Eaves paced silently between the desks in his classroom. Today was a theoretical lesson. He hated theory lessons.

This was his first year class. Unfortunately they had been rather unruly last lesson, so this was their punishment.

A small round boy in the front row raised his hand.

"Yes Parkinson?" He asked, striding over to the boy.

"I'm all done sir." Said the boy nervously.

"Excellent! Stand up and show the class what you've been working on."

Parkinson stood up. He flicked his wand.
"Wingardrium Leviosah!" He said weakly, pointing his wand at a feather on his desk.

"No no. It's Levi-OH-sa. Not leviosah." He said with a smile. Pointing his wand at the feather.

It rose to the ceiling without him saying anything. The entire class had their eyes on it.

POOF!

The feather dissapeared in a tiny puff of smoke.

"Class dismissed."
