Rules Concerning This Forum and its Content:
• The staff work hard to make this RPG run smoothly and be fun for the member who want to participate, but we don't "owe" you anything. All the staff are doing this during their free time. All suggestions will be taken into consideration, but any unreasonable demands will be ignored. • The administrators has the final say on all decisions concerning the RPG. Members will be allowed to give their input and they will taken into consideration, like any other suggestion. • Members are not allowed to post links to sites containing inappropriate content such as porn, cracks or other illegal content. Spamming is also not allowed (irrelevant or redundant posting) as well as inappropriate advertising. Links will be removed upon discovery and members will get a warning. • You are responsible for anything that you place on this site (Images, graphics etc). Pornography and other inappropriate pictures and graphics are not allowed!
Concerning Members • What you choose to reveal on this site is your own responsibility. It is in your best interest to refrain from giving out personal details and information. Please don't give anyone your password as this gives the person access to your account, and from there they can edit or delete any of your posts. • Members must show each other respect. You may not harass or threaten other members. Disrespectful behavior, such as derogatory comments containing racism, homophobia, or foul language will not allowed. Please be respectful to all members, regardless of age or experience.
Duties of an Administrator and Moderators • Enforcing the rules. • Maintaining the board and site. • Editing or deleting posts when necessary: situations include when a member has requested you to, or when you see a violation of the rules. • Keeping the board running smoothly, although we are not responsible for any downtime the forum has unless stated so. InvisionFree may have problems at times, but it is not known to happen frequently.
Registration • You must read the rules and all information pages on Lumos before filling a Character Application.
Gameplay • Posting should be daily. If you are to go on vacation or a leave of absences, please post a thread in the Leave of Absence board stating how long you will be gone. • You may only control your own characters. • Please speak in 3rd person only (when role playing, you can use 1st person in OOC). • No godmodding. Godmodding is when you make your character practically invincible and all-powerful, which is unfair for other players, and boring for you. • No killing of other characters unless that character has officially left the story and you have made an agreement with the member. • Cursing is allowed in character, but be mindful of what you say out of character. We're not too picky. • As we cannot hear your voice, make your intentions clear. • Your profile must be accepted before you start role playing. Any requests made by an admin to your bio should be followed, if not then your bio will not be accepted. • You are not allowed to have the same character in two threads at the same time. All actions in one thread will have an impact on the other thread one way or another. • If you have no desire to complete a solo thread or no one has joined your thread for over a month, let a moderator know so they can delete it. Any thread without promising replies will ultimately be deleted after 6 weeks. • Label all out of character comments in story threads clearly. For example double brackets (()), or a simple OOC: tag. • ALL CAPS IS SHOUTING, or at least thought of as shouting. In character it would be preferred if you explained that your character is shouting. • If you are responding in a long thread, specify who you are speaking to when necessary. • As they reflect upon you, please be mindful of your spelling, punctuation and grammar before posting. • Do not spam the board. Please make your posts at least a few sentences long and delete repeated posts.
Character Creation • You cannot have more than one character on one account, period. This is to stop people from clogging up the board with lots of different characters. A member can create a new account and have new characters there, but they would have to state clearly that the new account is owned by which member. • You are not allowed to use pre-made characters from external sources, i.e characters from books, video or games without permission from the Administrator. The Canon list is an exception of course. • As far as NPC's are concerned, yes, you're allowed to make them, but they can't overpower the group of people you're with or be used to attack another character without their permission. Don't use an NPC someone else created without their permission first. • Your character is only allowed to use the powers that you have listed in their Character Application. If you use any powers that don't appear there it will be thought of as godmodding.
If you fail to follow these rules you will either be warned or even banned.
