[Professor Eaves]

Eaves used the short break between his 6th year and 7th year classes to fix up the classroom. He used his wand to put pieces of rubbish into the bin, and to erase the blackboard.

"How do they make all this mess when all they did was read?" He asked himself.

He waved his wand at the door and it burst open. The 7th years piled in.

Nicko walked in with the other bunch of 7th years, he nearly spilted his coffee when one of them bumped him. He found the nearest chair at the back and took his seat there he finished off eating his toast while waiting for the lesson to begin

[Professor Eaves]

Professor Eaves stood infront of his desk. He was holding his wand in his right hand, and his other was at his side.

"Ok then. Today we will be reviewing what we learnt last year. Can everyone please take out their wands, and practise the Scourgify charm?" He asked. Placing his wand back into his robes to examine the students.

Nicko looked around the room, most of the others where doing the charm on greased up pans, he took one from the shelf. He watched the person next to him try it but nothing happened, pointing his wand at the pan.

With a slight movement of his wrist
"Scourgify"

Nicko watched as the pan infront of him clearned itself, He made sure to make a mental note about this spell, it could be handy later. After awhile every one was able to do it once, they where all looking to the front ready for there next task

Eaves walked among the students. Examining their technique. Checking to see what they had remembered from last year. So far not one student had managed to get his pan clean. One student had reduced the amount of grease, but it wasn't good enough.

He passed a group of Slytherin boys. All except one still had dirty pans. David Smith's was clean.

"Excellent work. Mr. Smith still remembers how we did it. 5 points to Slytherin. Remember to pronunciate, and use the appropriate wrist movement!" He said, showing off the wrist movement.

He nodded to Professor Eaves then went back to practicing his movement of the wrist. It didnt take them long to get it to work in one shot. Nicko looked up at his class mates, every one was finish and waiting for Professor Eaves to give them a new task.I hope im not going to get homework after this class, I got to get down to do Practice tonight, Nicko thought to himself as his pan finaly was clearn

Eaves waited until they had all sat back down and were ready for their next task.

"Ok. It's just about time for lunch." He said closing his book.

"I won't be giving out homework today, seeing as it's first lesson. But don't expect this to happen much in the future!" He said, pointing his wand at the class as a parent would to a young child.

Fireworks erupted from his wand just above the students. They gasped, then clapped.

"Class dismissed." He said, turning back to his desk.

Nicko followed the rest of the year 7ths out of the room, he looked around to see if there was anyone he knew. After a while of waiting he started to walk to the great hall,I might get some food before i go to practice.
