Today is the last day of shooting on All My Children. Yes, they're supposed to have some deal with Prospect Park to continue on in January in some format or another, and yes, it will continue to air on TV until Sept 23, but today, the actors will be on the set of ABC's All My Children for the last time.

So a glass raised to a soap that wasn't always the best, but was the soap that brought us Erica Kane. And more importantly for me, Bianca Montgomery, the first and only Gay/Lesbian Legacy Character. RIP

Ditto. To all of it.

Erica Kane is a legend, pure and simple. She is the character that you can't help but love, even when she is at her worst.

And Bianca (Eden Reigel) was the one thing that got me to watch the soaps. Loved her character, loved the actress, and have missed her since she left ...

It is the end of an era ...
