C-Box Rules

•• Do not spam the c-box, especially when it's in IC-mode. It annoys me to no end. If you're running to get a glass of water or whatever, there is no reason to let everyone know you're going to be gone for a whole two seconds. Excessive: brb, hb, wb, ty, yw is just plain obnoxious.

•• No trolling. If you don't know what trolling is, look it up. This is the internet after all, make use of it.

•• No advertising. That's what the [gasp] advertising section is for.

•• Do not harass other members to post. To let them know that you've replied is one thing, but to pester is another. Not only is it annoying to the one being bothered, it's annoying to me and probably everyone else present too.

•• Do not pose as someone you are not. I've paid the money so that we can have password protected names, so please make use of this feature to ensure that no imposter will steal your c-box identity. If you don't know how to do that, below the chat input field there is a link that says 'profile' click that.

•• Keep your drama out of the c-box. I can't make it any more clear than that. Be mindful of your words. If you think they're going to upset someone DON'T SAY IT. If someone says something that is disrespectful, please inform that person via PM that you do not appreciate it, or if you don't want to do that inform a staff member. There is absolutely no reason to carry on for hours or even days over stupid misunderstandings.

•• Please refrain from revealing spoilers for other anime/manga in the c-box. Just because you've seen it or read it doesn't mean everyone else present has. If you're going to reveal some great truth have the common decency to make sure it's not going to ruin it for someone there. However, since this is a Vampire Knight site, all discussion is open. If you joined the site without being up-to-date on the manga or anime you do so at your own risk. That's like joining a Star Wars site and then crying when someone tells you Vader is Luke and Leia's father.

•• These rules are in effect immediately. All violators will be given a verbal warning. Should they continue to break rules, I can and will resort to IP banning. Thank you.

Helpful Tips for IC C-Box:

• Italics are used to show a character's thoughts.

• If the c-box is currently in-character, be sure to use a double bracket or parentheses to indicate any out of character text. (i.e. (( ooc text )), [[ ooc text ]] ) If RPing has been inactive for more than ten minutes and it's all OOC talk, feel free to lose the brackets.

• Be mindful of location. If your character is talking to someone in the common room, then you will not be able to listen in on the conversation of characters who are out in the courtyard.

• Use common courtesy, even though the c-box is for fun and not related to the actual RP, if there seems to be something going on between characters don't just randomly throw yourself at them out of no where.

• God-modding and power-playing are severely frowned upon everywhere on this site, including the c-box. It's no fun to RP with someone who's almighty, all powerful, etc.

• If there's something being done IC that you do not like, please let myself or one of the other staff know. It's in poor taste and disruptive to do it publicly.

• If you're not in the mood to RP you don't have to. In fact it's better if you don't. Foul OOC attitudes should not be brought IC.
