GENERAL APPEARANCE:
Sayuri is (like most of the vampires) a gorgeous girl with a slender appearance. Her bright, pearly deep blue eyes glow and illuminate in the sun and moonlight. They are surrounded with thick, dark brown eyelashes. She has thin, soft and sensual lips. Her smooth, soft cheeks are brought out by her slightly marked cheekbones and her hypnotizing eyes sit very nicely on them. Her ears are hidden by her long brunette hair which reaches to the bottom of her waist. Her nose is ‘‘sharp’’, delicate and elegant and sits in the middle of her face. She stands 5’5 and weighs about 115 Ibs.

PERSONALITY:
Generally a calm and collected person, Sayuri is quick to get a handle on her emotions in a crisis and can adapt quickly to any required situation. With a focused yet casual attitude to almost anything she does. Sayuri usually takes time to act more human and compassionate to those in trouble than others normally would. With a natural strong survival instinct and high aptitude to apply various skills to several situations she can think on her feet and use her environment to her advantage as well as logical thinking under pressure.
Outside of having to survive the Hell that encompasses the world, Sayuri is usually quiet about the past events in her life, joking about various things she rarely has any mention of. She tends to hide her feelings because of the fear of being hurt once again by someone she trusts. It’s difficult for her to make new friends; not because people dislike her, but because she usually tries to not get very close to anyone.

HISTORY:
Sayuri's parents, Midori and Kenji Hyata, married when both were very young and against the woman’s parents norms, since they wanted their daughter to join a noble vampire to keep her blood’s nobility. Luckily for Midori’s family, Kenji was an unknown vampire, but at the same time a pureblooded one. Midori's family had no choice but to accept that marriage and their daughter’s decision.
The Hyata family’s first years were happy and a few months after they got married, their first and last daughter Sayuri was born. The time passed by and things seemed to follow a normal and peaceful trajectory, until one day, at the tender age of 13 years, the Hyata’s daughter witnessed the death of her beloved mother, in her father’s hands. No one ever knew why Kenji committed such a crime, something that has disturbed Sayuri's mind throughout her entire life. The vampire council started an intense search, because Lord Hyata had killed one of the most important nobles in the vampire society. But the years passed and while Sayuri was getting older, the vampire council gave less importance to Hyata’s crime, leaving it in the background.
The girl arrived at Cross Academy shortly after its founding, with the first generation, led by the heir of the Kuran, someone who certainly lived a past like hers. From the first day, Sayuri has been a good student and made many good friends from the night class as well as from the day class. She feels a great respect and affection for Kaname, but not nothing more than friendship and confidence. Moreover, feeling love for someone is something she has always been scared of. As a consequence, when she starts to like a boy in a “more than just friends” way, her fear comes out, making her step back and build a wall between her and the “possible” lover.
Nowadays, Sayuri trains very hard in order to be able to face her father in combat someday and avenge her mother.
