Title: Gerudo Prison
D - September 21, 2010 06:31 PM (GMT)
The Gerudo Prison is at the edge of the fortress grounds, slightly separate from the other buildings. During Ganondorf's conquest for power, the Gerudo used the prison rather often to imprison those who opposed Ganondorf.
After they were met with genocide by their own king, however, the prison largely fell into disuse, housing only a single prisoner at a time if at all. Now, with even greater separation between countries, and the rare number of visitors the desert gained, the prison hasn't held a prisoner for years.

The Dark Wizard enetered the prison. Although, it was empty, cold, and dark, there was a strange feeling as though the presense of people hadn't intruded on it in many ages. True enough, there were no prisoners there nor did it give the hopeless feel a prison should. The only remaining signs of its purpose were the few, broken cuffs and window bars remaining.
The Cloaked Man took a step forward. The hallway about him vanished. 'My memory-' Holding his breath, he found himself at the edge of a beach stretching a far as his eye could see. '-nearly-' The shore was lit only by the distant gray sun that hung eternally halfway over the horizon, as if in an everlasting sunset or dawn. '-gone-' Ganondorf took another step forward, the shore fading away to show him standing merely in the prison hallway as if he had never left. No one would see him leave for he never had. However, neither had any shoreline ever truly appeared...
He released his breath, shutting his eyes. He murmured to himself in an attempt to finish the memory that had faded almost completely away. "But I... I..." The Gerudo glanced about the hall a moment before continuing to walk down the corridor.

The darkness of the prison was a welcome change from the bright desert sun. Sehkon entered the hallway and embraced the shadows, their warmth covering him slowly. His eyes drifted about the room until they halted upon Ganondorf. The man stood still in the center of the hall, lost in some sort of deep thought. The Sheikah was confused for a moment, which was not helped by the subsequent actions of the Gerudo. He showed some sort of anger or despair a second afterwards, though quickly hid it as suspected. Sehkon didn't wish to question the actions and followed a small distance behind.

((Are Veran and Melissa to be contained too? I have no idea :P If you don't know either, then let's say so.))
*From the fortress yard*
Veran and Melissa entered the prison grounds, catching up with Sehkon. Melissa quietly watched him. "So... A prison", she eventually said. "What now then, huh?".
Veran
Vanya said nothing, and merely followed the others. It was foolish that these gerudos would try to keep them here. Veran could easily destroy the whole fortress and every gerudo in it! But then again, why would she? She hated prisons, it was only scum that lived there. The Sorceress of Shadows wanted only the best of comfort. Then she realised it wasn't her body, so she didn't bother and walked up next to Sehkon, awaiting a reply aswell.

((They are strangers to the fortress and the king intended for no information of the strangers at the fortress to be spread, and Vanya and Melissa wandering around freely wouldn't really keep the information from being spread. So yes.
By the way Sessy, I've noticed you hinting that it's still daytime in the desert, but it's actually now night time where we are. xd That's why Gralian suggested you rest for the night before entering the Spirit Temple.))
Soon Ganondorf chose on one of the broken cells. Standing by the room with the broken bars, he looked back to the others. "I suggest that we choose different cells for our rooms and get some sleep. In the meantime, we can assume that the Gerudo King will keep his word and send out scouts to search for Lady Sarah." he decided.
Then he entered the cell and lay on the hanging there. It wasn't very soft, but it would do. It was home. With a soft sigh, he looked out the broken and jagged bars hanging across the window to the desert moon. 'And we can assume that we'll find the other two at the temple.'
The Gerudo shut his eyes, not yet sleeping. He had something he wanted to do beforehand, but without the disturbance of the others. So he would wait until the sounds of his companions died down until they were asleep. His only worry at the moment was that three of them wouldn't sleep, one of them being in this prison besides himeself.

((I wasn't sure and tried to keep it vague. The first sentence was supposed to be in reference to earlier when they arrived, though I suppose he would have time to adjust by now. Ah, it doesn't really matter. :P ))
"What he said," Sehkon stated to his female companions, shrugging. He looked to see that the cell that Ganondorf entered had room for two and the one across did as well. "I guess... it would be most appropriate to separate by gender," he said, a hint of disappointment in his voice. He sighed softly and entered the cell, his eyes drifted to the Gerudo wizard for a moment. The Sheikah quickly made his way to the bed, yearning for sleep. He quickly drifted off into slumber, apathetic about Siegfried's possessor and Ganondorf's past for the moment.
((Eh, it's short. I'm not feeling too motivated right now. ))

When Sehkon said they were supposed to sleep men in one cell and women in one, Vanya let out a dissapointed sigh. "Aaaw", she mumbled, which made Melissa sigh aswell, out of annoyance. The two women entered their cell, where Melissa pulled out her sword, sat down by the wall and began to polish it.
Veran
Vanya also sat down against the wall, and closed her eyes. No good opportunity to kill them had shown up yet, but eventually it would.. In the spirit temple, accidents could happen.

((I'll take it that your characters are eventually going to sleep, Mastah. If I'm wrong, I'll edit.))
The Dark Wizard lay silently, listening to the sounds of the others as they settled in the prison and eventually drifted off to sleep. He waited a time before moving. The Gerudo opened his eyes and sat up. The warlock pulled the mirror from his tunic pocket. "Tsukiomi." he murmured softly.
The mirror surface shimmered and a woman's face appeared in it. She gazed at the warlock for a moment. "...Your protection... is gone... Have you lost it...?"
"Amidst the middle of a battle, yes. I needed to be more powerful so I got rid of it."
The woman stared at him for a long moment. "Then it is... all the more important... that you... finish your training. Shall we...?" Ganondorf nodded and shut his eyes. From there, he proceeded to follow Tsukiomi's instruction.
Several hours later, he opened his eyes and returned the mirror to his pocket and went to sleep.

Sehkon jumped up as a loud bang echoed through the hall. Obviously one of the guards was alerting the group that it would be dawn soon. The Sheikah got out of bed quickly and looked about, glad that the sun hadn't risen and released its beams of light into the cells. He stepped out from the cell and walked towards the exit, though simply leaned against the wall once he arrived. It might have been taken as an insult if he left and he didn't wish to be gone when the others woke up.
Silence surrounded the Sage, its tranquil nature providing him to the mercy of his own thoughts. His worry over Zelda and Rupert were obviously lingering still, a separate anxiety provided by Gabriel and the possession of Siegfried. He was scared and admitted it quickly, though didn't know what he could do about it. Despite taking grasp of his flaws, nothing new seemed to come in mind. Jinko had always told the young Sheikah that his answers would come once he found security in himself, though Sehkon couldn't see the truth at that moment.
Yawning, Sehkon stifled his desire to make noise. He didn't wish to wake up his allies nor did he want to disturb his own thoughts. The Sage stood there in the darkness, waiting for the others to awaken and prepare.

Ganondorf stood by the front room's window, gazing out into the desert beyond. No longer was he clad in the white tunic he had been wearing the previous day. Now, he wore a black tunic fitted with armor. Covering his tunic and armor was the long shape of a cloth; a Gerudo Kimono with many intricate designs inlaid within the material reserved for very few. Visible at his waist was his blade's scabbard and the weapon itself. Hanging from several clips at his new tunic's waist were his old accoutrements.
On the table at the center of the guard room in the prison lay all of the strangers' belongings. Reselia stood at the doorway with her arms crossed. With a yawn, she informed the awoken Sheikah (nearly incomprehensibly), "We saw it fit to return your objects to you after careful examination and decided that you may need them during our investigation this morning." The woman rubbed her eyes, unused to waking up so early. It was still rather cool from the night.
The warlock by the window glanced back to the woman and Sehkon for a moment when she addressed him. It seemed only after she began to speak to the sage that Ganon realized anyone else was there. He nodded towards the Sheikah before looking back out the window.

Melissa
The paladin had always been a deep sleeper, so she calmly kept on sleeping a little more, but when the sunbeams hit her face, she yawned heavily and slowly woke up.
Veran
Vanya had woke up roughly the same time as Ganondorf, and now she could hardly hold back a laughter. That fool was dressed in a kimono and armor? Now she was quite certain this was THAT Ganondorf, just reborn as a child? Oh the irony, that fool would feel her full wrath once they reached the temple.
Melissa
As the paladin got up, she put on her armor and went over to the others. "Good morning gentlemen!", she said with a warm smile. "slept well?".
Veran
The sorceress tagged along with the paladin, and as she entered their cell, she merely mumbled. "Morning". Veran resisted the urge to just attack the young Ganondorf right here and now, with that stupid paladin around. Not that the paladin was bothering her, but that sword the woman carried made Veran feel uncomfortable.

Sehkon quickly grabbed for Umbral and tied it around his waist. A shiver crawled down his spine, ordering him to unsheathe the blade only for a moment. He obeyed silently, pulling the sword from its shelter slightly. The darkness that still lingered in the room was pulled towards the weapon, darkening the area around Sehkon while lighting up the rest of the jail. The shadows retreated into Umbral's scabbard as Sehkon put his sword away.
As Ganondorf looked over to the Sheikah, the latter returned the nod. He gave a look towards Reselia as well, though nothing was said or implied of it.
As the two women exited their cell, Sehkon grinned. "Wonderful," he answered softly, grabbing for the half dozen of daggers that the guard had confiscated the day before. He returned them to their proper spots once again, though several were placed without possible acknowledgments of the others. Though he had grown to trust the group he was with, the possession of Siegfried, Ganondorf's transformation, and the wizard's information of a traitor kept him very weary.
"We should go soon," the Sage said, hoping to speak before anyone brought up conversation. "The faster we can find the others, the greater chance they'll still be alive and well."

The paladin grabbed her sword from the table and sheated it. Now she was ready to fight evil again!
Veran
Vanya had no real weapons except her magic, so she was always equipped. "Yes, let's go as soon as possible", said she. She was eager to get to the spirit temple, so that she could destroy these heroes, she was growing bored of them, especially the paladin and her stupid light-infused blade.

((My mind's a little dead right now. Sorry.))
Reselia yawned once more as the objects were retrieved one by one. Ganondorf watched Sehkon return his blade to its scabbard but remained quiet. The Gerudo woman looked at the partuy. "Well, then, I guess we shall be going." she turned and pushed open the door.

The two women, the paladin and the sorceress, quietly followed Reselia out to the yard.

Sehkon followed the others, humored by the apathy he had for leaving the prison. If this quest was to be as grand as he expected, he would likely forget about it.
