Abilities:

-Blizzard magic: She has the power to summon magic of the ice/snow/wind "elements"

Innate Magic: She can use magic without casting or chanting words, and her basic spells of lesser strength dont require any cast/charge time.

Invigorating frost: cold/ice/snow does not harm her in any way, it in fact heals her. Of course receive an ice pole in the gut deals damage, being shot with a blast of ice magic hurts etc etc, but standard snow and ice heal her.

Power magic: By storing up energies, she can unleash strong spells. To do this, the amount of time required to charge must be stated, and if ever interupted before the end of the "countdown" the spell FAILS. only basic and light/slow movement is allowed while charging.

Magic detection: Her attunement to magic allows her to detect magical sources of all kind.(Her int must beat the wis of the item or caster on a lingering magical effect our source.)

Accessories:Elemental orb. (acts as a heart, granting her life)

Money: Money? unless someone explains what money is she doesnt even know what it is, let alone have any xd

1-Glass body: unbeleivably fragile, her bones and body can be broken easily, strong hits, a hard fall, anything with moderate to strong impact is highly dangerous.

2- Heat sensitivity: She is highly weak to fire and strong heat sources, they wil sap her energy and deal increased damage to her.

3- She is an absolute Klutz.

-Mental Weaknesses (least 2):
1- Uneducated, she has no knowledge whatsoever.

2-Manipulable, she is easy to manipulate because of her general lack of understanding of this world.

relatively short (5'4"), she has a beautyful slender body, almost fragile looking. Her hair is of a snowy white, with only the lightest touch of blue. Her eyes shine of an azure color and her skin is soft and cool to the touch, with a once again pale color. Her hair reaches halfway down her back.

same modifier, not in the same spot. In fact the only physycal advantage fairies have are good dex....i took that away weakening the race even more physicaly, in exchange of a slight increase in wis, wich wouldnt show anyway since one of her weakness is low will.

My custom race has no special power either.

in a summary, this min max race you seem to despise out of fear of it being overpowered, is a less powerful "copy" of a race you had created.



You also state that it is a self made race, this is not true, although i came up with the idea and most of it, DORN AND META both helped me in its creation and APPROVED it, wich i state you own words, if Dorn also aproved of this(since i had told you about Metas aproval), then this race was aproved.

in the end, im not stupid, even though i have aproval of 2 of the staff and that you said yourself i could do it with dorns aproval, i know darn well just by your reaction that if i choose to go on with this your going to either make it a living hell for the character or just constantly whine about it or something: basicaly you wont be happy in some way or another and it will show. Thus, i guess that even though i truly wanted to play this character im going to shove it up the waste basket and make another. Thank you for understanding how i feel and reading it all.


PS: while your at it you could be fair and do something about all the other similar races roaming around the rpg instead of showing a "they can but you cant" look for new members. I know they where already aproved in the past but new members wont and it will show as unfair, and it is in a way.

Firstly I actually did approve that he could use the fairy stats as a base for his character. After all he said he was told to use another race for base...so he actually did so. I am honest when I say I approved it.

If i may add something, if not just delete it. But Also we got two admins approving, and they got two reasons why: they see no problems, and you don't have enough members to be picky now. You got one old member here, the only thing he needs is the welcome deserved by a character approval.

we are 10 active if he is approved! Ten!! As a forum, it's not even worth mentionning about it. :S So come on, for the simple sake of the fun of the RP, do make a fuss about it.

I do admit I approved the idea of a magically created human, yes, and I was aware of the fairy stats, yes. Also, I did give some suggestions. But for now, I must stay neutral, for I am somewhat sleepy, and it is not a good time to make decisions, now is it?

The application isnt even finished yet, its in its "beta" stage where i wa sputting down my ideas and then afterwords would have done some touch ups. as for being neutral, thats fine, im just happy you stopped by and confirmed what i said(as dorn has done) prooving that im not making this up.

I didn't read the entire thing, but if you're using Fairy stats, then I expect this thing to be as small as a fairy. That's the reason why they got those min-maxing stats because their size gives them the disadvantage of being easily squashed.
If you create a larger being, then you can't use Fairy stats.

But since two admins approved this, I suppose I got nothing more to say or care about. You should just be happy we have no strict only-Zelda-race rule. So have fun with your pygmy character. Do a vampire or werewolf for all I care. Good-day.
