Title: The Train Station

SSBB Fanboy - October 24, 2009 10:37 PM (GMT)
The newly-built locomotive transport station was a new invention that had been importaed and constructed in Clock Town's west area. It had four railroads that stretched out to Great Bay and to Hyrule, with trains coming in and out on a daily basis. A ticket to ride was fairly cheap, even the most poor fellow could afford to get away from here. A special ticket could be bought which would take a passanger to Great Bay and a ship to Labrynna or Newkay.

SSBB Fanboy - October 24, 2009 10:52 PM (GMT)
Late on that evening, a train from Hyrule arrived. But what made it so special was that it was completely overfilled with passangers! There were even people hanging on to the outside, clearly showing that something was wrong.
As the train came to a stop, a massive wave of Hyrulian people checked off and imigrated to Clock Town.
The conductor on that station was shortly notified by a Hylian soldier what has happened, which were grave news.
Another packed train arrived, and surely more were on the way.

Officer Jeremy Drave, the man who had fought alongside Princess Zelda in that short battle, had made it safely to the Clock Town in one piece. He had a massive, important work to do, and he would follow it through to the end.
Major Drave hurried along with the townpeople of Hyrule into the town. He needed to get to the Mayor's office.

-Much later that day...Err...Night.-

Jinka lightly landed in the train district right near the station, but out of sight. Once Jinka returned to them, they'd have to dodge some guards and sneak onto the nightly cargo trains to the Giant's Harbor.

Jinka sighed and let Daniel down. "Let's rest up while we wait for Jachlyn..." he muttered, and sat down by the wall. Daniel sat beside him silently, and rubbed the wetness from some of the tears he'd missed before off his face with the cuff of one of his gloves. Jinka yawned. Then he looked to the mayor. "So why exactly do you want to be kidnapped, Mr. Mayor of Clock Town?"

"Oh please." Daniel shook his head, as if in slight annoyance. "Just call me Daniel. Jinka blinked in surprise. The mayor didn't care so much for his title? The man, shorter and much lighter than himself, yet one year older, looked to the thief. "It's a sort of private business to get darkness on its tippy-toes." he replied softly in a sing-song voice.

The two fell silent and rested. Soon Jachlyn dropped down to the pathway from the rooftop opposite of them (to the north), shaking his head. "He wasn't there. They must've taken his body away...Who knows what for."

"Gah...Well, we did what we could. We better hurry, or we're going to miss tonight's ride." The twins agreed. Daniel stood up and the three quietly snuck through the station and successfully snuck onto the Nightly Cargo Train. Soon the train was off, as the train that would leave in the early morning arrived.

Larchen entered the Train Station, pulling out his wallet as he headed over to a ticket booth. They needed...What, three? Four tickets? Four. He thought. Maybe.

"Four tickets for one way rides to the Giant's Harbor." he said, handing four red rupees under the ticket window. Jeesh... 80 rupees for a train ride. Not cheap.

"Thank you, sir. The train will be leaving in seven minutes."

Pregan walked from the window. Now where was that girl, old man, and... that other guy? "Have you heard about the Ghost Ship? Rumor has it, loads of treasure is on it..." Larchen froze, looking in the direction of the gossipers. Becoming stealthy, he snuck in their direction, seeming like he would almost be blatantly obvious. He was obviously not noticed however. "Yes. Wherever it goes, a thick for surrounds it... Last I heard it's been most often seen in the Southwestern seas, but has recently appeared near Windfall City."

Windfall City-? By such a large population? Larchen snuck away from the conversation. Things didn't sound so good...

Katherine and Gryan arrived at the train station, and Katherine was filled with happiness, she loved trains!

She approached Larchen and said: "So.. When are we leaving?".

((I guess while Dorn doesn't post with Zezil, the Twili gets dragged along on auto mode? XP))

"Uuhm..." Larchen looked towards the train station's clock, handing Katherine and Gryan their tickets.

Just then, the train whistled, the conductor shouting, "All aboard!!"

Larchen blinked. It had already been seven minutes! Time flew when you...Err...Listened in on conversations. "Now." He headed off towards one of the passenger cars and boarded it. He headed into the nearest free room, wanting a place near the doors.

Katherine entered the train, almost flying, she LOVED trains! Yayness! Gryan followed the man inside the train, and got on. He didn't fancy trains too much, but he had to, he guessed. As they both entered, Gryan sat down, and Katherine did aswell. "Awesome", she said. "I love trains. So.. What happens when we reach that harbor place?".

Larchen opened his mouth again. The train whistled again just as he spoke. He paused, looking at the ceiling with an annoyed look until the whistle ended. The train began to move out of the station then.

Too used to the smoke the trains, Larchen slid the window shut. He hated the clogging feeling the smoke gave. Then he looked to the others. "Well, I suppose we would search throughout the town and fish for information on Stratling's recent activities and plans. We better have an accurate description of the mayor for whenever we ask about him... Should we consider it safe enough to do so." He glanced out of the window, watching the Clock Tower get distant.

Katherine watched as the train took off, and was happy, this was cool. Though she preferred to be out in the wilderness, hunting, she had the blood of a fighter and hunter after all, and the spirit of a gerudo, but her favorite thing in civilzation was undoubtly trains!
