A summary for the events of the last chapter:

After the fall of the Harbor in Lake Hylia, the Decade lost more and more battles, no matter how much they resisted. The Captain waited in the sewers for the heroes, as he said, and when they came, he let them inside the castle. The battle was fierce and long, but in the end, Mr.X's experiment "The liutenant" fell to the heroe's strenght and vigor. After that, Mr.X was defeated after all of his tricks had run out, and his mysterious guest fled through a secret tunnel as soon as the assault began, safely getting away.

After the heroes celebrated and thought everything was peaceful, a hole, big enough to be seen from Hyrule appeared in Labrynna. It was a timerift opened by Veran, a wound in the time/space continium itself. It randomly cast things in and out through times, from 1000 years in the past to 1000 year into the future, creating utter chaos!

The gerudos tried to fight Veran, but in vain, and first when the heroes from the battle at the castle appeared, gathered from across the world by the rightful ruler of Hyrule, Zelda, their combined forces brought down the sorceress, and so the portal closed. When it closed, it exploded, wounding Veran, but she sucessfully fled, though weakened greatly. Aethelnoth, after succesfully defeating Ganondorf, withdrew to his desert, and their expanded his empire to great glory.
