Story Plot

All over the galaxy on different planets, there had been chaos and trouble brewing everywhere. Chosen heroes of different stories and different times managed to save the galaxy though .. Not everyone had a happy ending. Even so...

..Peace was finally restored..

Two years of ever lasting peace, trouble was beginning to build up on planet Expel, once again. On a certain continent, the beings lived there in coexistance with spirits known as 'Kamui'. As long as humans, nedians, expellians, or fellpools that lived there, respected these Kamui creatures and vice-versa, everything was fine.

That was until someone has stolen the sacred spirit Okikurumi from the village I'touren. The Kamui spirits are thrown into chaos and the imbalance of the missing, sacred spirit threatens to destroy Expel.


Purpose?

The purpose of this roleplay? Well, I just wanted to see what a roleplay would be like if we mixed all of the Star Ocean series characters together! ^^

And the story plot is not my original idea, but a mixture of Star Ocean: Blue Sphere (manga by Mizuki Aoi and game belongs to Square Enix) plot and the manga series Kamui (by Shingo Nanami) plot-wise. It ended up turning out to be a sappy story-line, but it works for me...

So bring in characters from SO1 to SO3. ^^ Not to mention if you're familiar with Kamui, that would be loved as well. <3


Some Info. Stuff

Here's some listings of planets and races that exist in the SO series. ^^

Worlds:

Expel: Home of the Nedians, Expellians, and Fellpools. The world is similar to a midieval time which is currently studying about the other worlds and creating new technology.
Edifice: Very much like 17th century Europe, the planet has very little technlogy and no knowledge about the other worlds.
Elicoor II: Similiar to 18th century midieval times-- it's the home of the Elicoorian and Menodix.
Tetragene: Home of the Tetragenes. It's a high-ranking and wealthy planet with much knowledge and technology there.


Races:

Expellian: People who come from the planet called Expel. They appear to be average humans, only some can use magic and their features are more enhanced [such as sword fighting, running, etc.]
Nedian: The Nedians resemble an elven race of some sort, as they all carry the traits of having pointed ears.
Fellpool: People who have a strange pair of cat-like ears on their head. They are a rare race and can be found on Expel.
Tetragenes: People who come from the planet Tetragene. They are the most wealthiest ones in the galaxy and seem to have three eyes unlike humans.
Klausian: Very similiar to a Expellian, they surpass humans in physical strenght. Then they also have a strange marking on their neck that looks like three lines that circle all the way around their neck. Which identifies them easily.
Elicoorian: People from the planet Elicoor II. Many of them have markings on their bodies that allows them to use magic [although not all are magic users, there are warriors and such as well].
Menodix: Short, animal-earred, with fluffy tail these creatures are. They seem to be close with nature and could be found on Elicoor II.

There's a lot more out there, probably... My little brain just can't think of them off the top of my head. XD;;

As most trained swordsmen, Dias is tall, has a nice body built, fitting for someone who uses swords. He has long, purdy (^^), blue colored hair that is nearly waist-lenght, and his hair is left down all the time. Then he has crystal-like, matching, blue eyes that goes with his hair- and usually the look of seriousness is shown in them. For a swordsman, he wears very light, clothed garments that don't show a lot of protection for his body. His clothing mainly consists of the colors: green, yellow, and blue. He wears a green, long-sleeve shirt; with lines going across his shirt and the line at the bottom of his shirt are yellow. His pants are yellow, and a skirt-like garment around his waist, that surrounds his legs, are the same shade of green like his shirt. Around his waist is a brown belt-garment- and then his shoes are simple, brown boots made for rough travels.

>>Bio: Dias lived in a quiet village in Arlia, from the planet Expel. He lived quietly with his family- his mother, father, and his younger sister- and was childhood friends with Rena Lanford (one of the heroines of SO2). At that time, he was more open-hearted and showed his emotions a lot more, until a certain, misunfortunate incident. Thieves/Bandits attacked his family, and Dias was the only member that survived that incident. Dias felt weak for not being able to defend his family .. the people he loved .. so he set out into the world as a swordsman. On his journey around Expel, he ran into Rena Lanford and Claude C. Kenny quite a few times- and even helped them out with their problems here and there. Various times when he encountered Claude C. Kenny, Dias was usually rude and cold to Claude, and acted like he was the better swordsman of the two- but Dias only acted like that to make Claude get stronger. So at times, Dias can be cold and uncaring, but only to help people in a way.

Dias Flac sighed- a sigh that couldn't be determined whether it was a sigh of exhaustion, or a sigh of boredom.

As usual for the past two years or so, he made his way around his homeworld, Expel, as a lone mercenary. He hadn't tried making contact with his old companions, or at least he didn't try .. or maybe he just didn't care at all. Nonetheless, he lightly shook his head, as if trying to shake out those mindless thoughts from his mind- and then continued onward to the village of I'touren.

Although he wasn't usually interested in getting involved with troublesome things, Dias was just slightly interested in the disturbance of this spiritual continent.

In just a matter of minutes, he was just a couple meters away from the gate entrance of I'touren, and already the swordsman could feel the dilemma presence that surrounded the town. "..." Quietly, while keeping his sheathed sword in hand close to him, Dias proceeded forward until he reached near the gate- where two gatekeepers held out their weaponary to prevent Dias from entering.

"State your identity and reasoning for being here, or present a special pass given to you to enter. Other than that, no one is allowed to pass."

Within the city wall, screams errupted from the streets - a strange creature finding delight in their howls of pain and misery. A chimera. It held the head of a goat, body of a lion, and a tail of a snake. It was a sin, created by a mortal, by their own selfish intent to possibly get revenge for no reason.

A castle resided there within the wall, gaurds fending off the beast with their spears, only to be torn apart later on by the blood-thirsty chimera. Once past the gate, it made it's way further, and entered the castle. It was apparently after the young princess. A cloaked figure sat atop, on the barraks edge, watching the creature enter with a sadistic grin. Maybe this figure had an evil intent?

Screams came from behind him, and the form looked over it's shoulder, only to meet the gaze of the King, and the young pincess, their eyes wide with fear as the beast made it's was up the steps, growling lowly. The firgure rose to it's feet and drew a blade, stepping before the two.

There was no need for them to run. It would be over soon enough...

When the creature lept at the figure, the princess let out an ear peircing shreik, as it looked as if the chimera was going after her. Moving the blade swiftly, the chimera stopped dead and landed on it's feet. Wiping his blade and sheathing it, the chimera split and basically, exploded into peices, leaving a bloody mess, of muscle and organs spread about.

The princess looked up to the figure, who allowed his peircing gaze to look pver his shoulder, though his face was still covered, she drew back, but proceeded in approaching him nevertheless. Once to him, she reached up and removed his hood, a smile now on her face, "You're..." She whispered.

He stared at her for a moment, a smile not even bothering to come to his face. He had forgotten how to smile...he could only grin menacingly. He continued to stare at her, "Albel..." He replied.

With the sudden shriek errupting from inside of the town, both of the gatekeepers immeditally turned and headed inside to see what the commotion was about. In which both of the guards ended up completely forgetting about a certain blue-haired man standing at the gate still.

At least I won't have to bother with that anymore then. Without a second thought, Dias walked forward and calmly into the chaotic town before him.

He maneuvered his way through the panicking crowd- occasionally shifting to the side to dodge dead bodies that were thrown like rag dolls from the monsterous being. Slowly, he began to pick up his walking pace until he neared the castle gates, where the loud roars of the chimera could be heard inside. With no guards to block his way, he easily made his way into the castle where he continued to follow the chimera's noises.

Then just like that, the chimera could be heard no more in just an instant.

That was when Dias came upon the door to the courtroom, where the scene had taken place. He had no expression shown on his face, staring with a monotone look in his eyes at the scene before him. A chopped up chimera, a girl with her father- which Dias guessed was the King and Princess of this town- and a man with a sword. Putting the pieces together, even a five-year-old could figure out that the man with the sword was the one who had annihilated the chimera.

Calmly, he walked across the room, ignoring the puddle of blood, here and there, that he walked through. "So it's true then." Those words were the first to escaped through the lips of the blue-haired swordsman. "The rumor where someone stole the sacred spirit, Okikurumi, the balance of peace here is no more."

He looked at Dias, and stared at him, for a moment, before sheathing his blade. There was something about this man that caught his eyes, but he was torn from thought, just as soon as the girl latched onto his leg. He did nothing to stop her.

"I have heard about that also," He said softly, looking back at Dias, then to the girl, whom he motioned away, before he felt the urge to kill her, which would not be the best thing in the world. Apparently she understood because she immediatly unwrapped herself from around his leg and backed away.

He fixed his jacket-like cloak, with feathers about the neck, "Someone stole an artufact, or am I mistaken by thinking that?" He made his way to Dias and stopped a few feet away.

He awated a reply.

Dias stared blankly, almost wanting to raise an eyebrow at the princess who had suddenly attached herself to the swordsman who had now just saved her life. Usually for him, he would've been long gone before anyone would make a motion to hug, glomp, or even touch him.

After watching as the girl had immediately releasing her grip on the brown / blonde haired male's leg, Dias had his blue eyes return to the one in front of him. Having to travel around Expel as the mercenary he was, Dias met and knew a lot of faces around the planet- but didn't recall ever meeting Albel anywhere .. Then again, it's not like Dias would bother remember anyone who he didn't need to worry about.

"No, you're most likely right." Then for a brief moment, he turned his head and looked at the remains of the chimera. "I'm sure that monster you killed is somehow related to what is happening with this place."

While still holding onto his sheathed sword, he moved the bottom tip of his sword around a bit, lightly poking about at a piece of the chimera that was close to where he was standing. "I'm guess your reason for being here is to also investigate on this matter? Unless you only helped out the ruler of this place because you wanted the pleasure of killing the chimera."

He stared at the swordsmen for a moment and grinned, "I'm not invesitagting, merely just doing this for the fun of it. And, your second guess was better then you're first. Not as if I go around killing things, just to get a reward, only the plaure of seeing blood spilled before my very eyes," He replied after nearing the swordsman, and whispering thsi into his ear, and then started to make his way away with not another word.

He cringed just a little, barely noticable, when the younger swordsman had suddenly shortened the distance between the two. His blue eyes shown a bit of dislike in them when he had felt hot air from the other's mouth breathing on his ear.

When Albel had then started walked away, Dias didn't turn or make any actions in following the younger one, except he only stared down at the dirtied ground. "Then why bother travel so far from where you are from just to fight? I'm very sure that you're not from around here."

"Like there is any need for you to know that," He said back to Dias, already out the door, and beginning to make his way down the steps. He cared not what the other male thought of him at that moment.

Then he left it just like that, not saying or do anything as Albel completely left the area. In a way, that was true, and Dias did not need to know anything about what the younger swordsman was going to do now.

"I'll be investigating around the town." Dias spoke in a calm tone, turning on his heels to leave the room without bothering to listen to what the King or the Princess had to say in response. It wouldn't do me harm if I kept a look-out around here..

He could see Albel, not to far away, who was close to exiting the castle grounds. Neither of them were acquaintances, so Dias continued on without giving the brown / blonde haired male the slightest bit of attention- and soon found himself in the middle of the busy streets of I'touren.

His stomach let out a loud growl, and it did not take long for the two dragons on his shoulders to start imitating the growl with their little 'yups' that they did when they were happy, but right now, they were having too much fun immitating, and making fun of their master, Ashton.

It was annoying.

"Please stop..." Ashton mused, ready to just fall over. Carrying the two dragons was not very easy. They were very heavy. Though, he did not like to admit that sometimes they did tire him out. But, right now, all he wanted was just to sit down and eat, though he had no money...

Dias wandered around here and there, not finding anything that interesting to do- espically since there were no clues about how the chimera came to be.

"Mou.. Isn't that a bit scary though?"
"It is! What kind of person is that?"
"I don't personally think that man is bad, but those two dragons.."

He blinked, overhearing a conversation between a few people nearby. In truth, the swordsman could care less about gossip, but the phrase of 'two dragon's immeditally caught his attention.

"Isn't it kind of annoying that the man has to live like that?"
"I'm wondering the same thing. I wouldn't be able to stand having two dragons stuck on my back all day long."

Ho boy .. Dias just had the exact feeling that he knew what the group was talking about. It has to be.. He let out a small sigh, taking a few steps forward as he neared the people. "Excuse me." He said quietly, but loud enough for the group to hear. "About that man you were talking about .. with two dragons. Do you know where he is?"

"Oh.. um.. I saw last him in the Second District. Is he an acquaintance of yours?" One of them replied, a questionable look upon their faces.

"Thanks." Dias mumbled, turning around as he left the group without bothering to answer their question. He walked rather quickly, easily finding himself at the Second District- with a few guides to help him maneuvere through the town.

As expected, it wasn't hard to find a being with a red and a blue dragon on their shoulder- more like it stood out from the crowd, a lot. Before allowing the being to get out of his sight, he continued to walk until he stood just a few feet away from the brown haired swordsman. "Ashton..?"

Blinking, he lifted his head, and looed around abruptly - did someone just call his name, and if they had, who was it. Looking about again, the red dragon tugged on his sleeve and motioned him to look behind him.

He did - and there stood one of his freinds - Dias. And he probably had money to spare on food. Yay!

Smiling, it was like a hamster wheel celebration going on in his head, "Dias~" He mused, wandering over to his freind. Had he heard the rumors goign around about ' a male wandering about town with two dragons on his shoulders' too? That could be why the swordsman was able to find him so...well...easily, he figured, "What brings you here?"

As usual, Dias found the twin-bladed swordsman as hyper, cheerful, and spunk up as usual. It was either two things that made Ashton this happy: Ashton is probably happy to see a friend from the past, or Ashton was just glad to find someone with money on them to get him food and a bed. It was easy to read Ashton once someone got to know him.

"Investigating." Was all that Dias replied back with. He looked up from Ashton's face, to the two dragons upon Ashton's shoulders. And as usual, the dragons were the same as well, at least to Dias they were. While one hand continued to hold onto his sword, he extended out his other hand and reached for one of the dragons, lightly stroking the dragon.

"What about you?"
