File sharing:
Maiden Fans United will under no circumstances tollerate the sharing of official and/or copyrighted material on our forums. This includes but is not limited to the posting of MP3's, torrents or links to places where copyrighted material can be downloaded. We also ask members not to discuss WHERE they downloaded material such as this from. We don't want to risk any action from Sanctuary, Iron Maiden, EMI or anyone else for that matter so our moderators will always take a harsh line on this. You have been warned.

Moderation process:
All moderators of this forum have the right to edit delete or move your posts without your consent or warning should they feel that their action is appropriate. In all other circumstances where rules are being broken the following procedure will be followed.

1. Private warning of conduct via private message
2. First warning
3. Second and final warning.
4. Ban or suspension of member privileges.

Under extreme circumstances 1 or more of the earlier steps may be bypassed.

Rules for reporting posts:
If you want to report a post, please follow these rules to make it easier for us to investigate:
1. Give a link.
2. Name the offending person.
3. Quote the offending post.

FORUM RULES

All old rules regarding specific forums still apply(for example those regarding political discussion in General Chat).

We've updated the rules of the forum, and those concerning signatures.
If you signature doesn't conform, please change it immediately.

Mind you, posting on this forum is not a right, it's a privilege. If you don't behave, don't expect to stay.

SIGNATURE RULES
If you have images in your signature, they cannot exceed 500x100 pixels.
In addition to that, text in your signature may not exceed 3 vertical lines with the default forum font and size.
If you only have text in your signature, the text may not exceed 8 vertical lines.

FORUM RULES
If you wish to discuss the actions of an Admin or Moderator, please do so over PM, and not in public.

Please do not harass members/Staff/Staff from other forums. If you do so, you'll most likely get a warning(and at worst, a ban).

Respect the rights of other users to have their own opinions(within the scope of the rules).

Please do not use expressions that are considered foul, vulgar, sexually harassing, racially offensive or in any way discriminatory. These expressions include, but are not limited to, ethnic slurs, hate speech and religious epithets. Whether an expression fits under this definition will be determined by the Staff at the time.

You will not make posts that are inflammatory with the perceived intent to rile people up (i.e. "trolling" and "flaming" are prohibited).

If you wish to post in a language that is not English, do so in the Other Languages forum.

Only post messages that are within the particular forum’s scope or topic.

You will not flood or post on the forums redundant, empty, or nonsensical posts or advertisements as determined by MFU staff (i.e. no "spamming").

You will not post pornographic, sexually offensive material or images of a type unsuitable for a family/office environment or post links to such material or images. Posting porn is one of the things that can get MFU shut down, and will most likely result in an immediate ban.

Do not make posts of illegal nature or posts that detail ways to perform acts of an illegal nature.

You will not create offensive usernames as determined by the Staff.

You will not exploit any bugs or loopholes in the Board security. This includes reregistering to evade bans.

You will not register more than one Member account without prior approval of an Administrator.

You will not impersonate the Staff or any other user.

You will not attempt to or aid others in breaking into the forums or into other users’ accounts.
