Cavada wandered alone along the farm fields. After all he didn't want to pester the children playing in the streets or their parents who likely had a few broomsticks handy. He was currently in a corn field and the tall grass was good hiding. Hopefully he could pass through this part of the trip without someone chasing him out of town while he tried not to hurt the townsfolk. News had reached him of this "Traveler's Guild" and he wanted to see about registering there for him to pick up any bounties or find a place where perhaps he could gain his needed skill.

Tiny was sleeping amungst the corn filed, that Cavada was wandering amungst. Tiny's... tiny... frame was hidden by the tall corn stalks, which would prevent the townsfolk from spotting her as she rested on her journey. It would be difficult to spot her, and Cavada might actually end up stepping on her before he did notice her.

Cavada was indeed paying attention... just not to his feet. Thank goodness a half orc was big and thus had long strides. In addition to a tiny fairy the sound of the half orc was easy to hear. At least those things would definatly be in the fairy's favor as long as she was feeling alert.

occ- to clarify, she is about normal human size, just a tiny bit tinier...

Bic-

Tiny was slowly being aroused from her sleep by the noise. She mumbled something about waffles quietly and turned over in her bed of folded grass, trying to ignore the sound, unbenownst to her the sound was coming from large foot steps coming her way.

OoC: Oh. Okay. tongue.gif

BiC:

"Hmm?" Cavada made a speculative grunt at the noise of someone discussing waffles nearby. He looked around to find the source, crouching in the grass a little in case it was a townsman. Then he spotted the peach color of flesh and realized that was his mysterious waffle discusser. She seemed to be lying in the corn fields for no particular reason.

"Hey miss?" Cavada asked moving closer, "You okay?" of course this was a foolish thing to ask because if someone truley wasn't okay then they wouldn't answer but this is what happens when half orcs try to think.

Tiny was snapped out of her sleep his voice and upon seeing him gave a startled yelp and called out, "They're my waff-" But quickly stopped herself when she reilized what was going on. It wasn't loud enough to be heard by a towns person but loud enough to convey surprise and fear of losing waffles.

"Ah, oh... who are you?" She quickly asked in order to change the subject.

"Uh..." Cavada began intelligently, "Cavada. I was on my way to somewhere called Avalon. Any particular reason you decided to take a nap in a corn field?" Cavada bent into a crouch to look at the far smaller than himself, fairy up close.

Tiny yawned, "I suppose it's not too different from your reasons for traveling though here. Townspeople are always poking my wings," She said sleepily.

"But anyway, why you going to New Avalaon? They don't have corn stalks there," Tiny asked.

"Why would that be a bad thing? I'm not fond of corn," Cavada responded completely clueless once more. He let the subject of his favoring of corn drop and responded, "I heard about a traveler's guild place, I'm hoping to find someone I can assist there."

"Oh? Your looking to help people? Well I could use some help, please," Tiny looked up to Cavada with big round eyes. "I'm Tiny, by the way can I ask for your name before I ask for your help?"

Hmm... loopy. Cavada thought to himself, but honestly who could say no to those eyes. "I'm Cavada of the God's Cry, nice to meet you Tiny. What exactally might you need then I'll do my best to assist you."

"Nice to meet you. As for what I need you see... I was robbed... yup... a fairy like me was overpowered... can you believe that?" The fairy said as if she couldn't believe it. "Anyway, these mean old theives, too my stuff, and I want it back... Will you help me? The theives are very strong!" She pleaded.

"Hehe sure," Cavada chuckled and agreed because as far as he knew it wouldn't take a lot to overpower a fairy. After all to a half orc size seemed like the main thing in determining power. "So where are the little devils?" He looked about not noticing any nearby ruffians.

"Really? You'll help? Thank you so much! If you follow this river, you'll reach a small woods area, they use the mouth of the river and the clearing it makes in the woods as their base, sort of... I stumbled onto it on my travels. Careful it might be dangerous," The fairy said worried, she poitned to the end of the corn field in the distance where a river could just be barely seen.

"Alright then I'll see about recovering your stuff," with that Cavada rose to his full height again. He gave the fairy a smile to ensure her, 'not to worry' and headed on a different angle through the cornfield. He reached the edge of the river and began walking along the flowing stream not bothering to hide, after all there wasn't a heck of a lot of people out there who willingly attacked a fully armed half orc.
