Study of Crusader Magic
Crusader magic is the magic meant to protect people. It is a new study of magic… much like aid magic, except that it has the unique twist of using love to pre-attack those who would do harm to those you wish to protect.

Understanding of Love
Mage Learning Requirements: 10 EXP
Merc Learning Requirements: 15 EXP
Cast time: Always active
Casting Requirements: none
Effect: boosts the effectiveness of Aid spells and Crusader by 10 posts.
Description: After many hours of study you finally get it! It’s love! Love is the source of power for all Aid spells… you don’t have to be completely in love with the target for you to cast Aid spells… but it’s your love and caring for the target that will allow you to protect, restore and/or enhance it! Now that you understand the source of Crusader and Aid spells you can now begin to study Aid and Crusader Spells.

Faith
Mage Learning Requirements: 100 EXP
Merc Learning Requirements: 150 EXP
Cast time: Instant
Casting Requirements: must chant magic words: ‘Oh mighty powers above…’
Effect: Increases effectiveness of a single Crusader spell by 10 posts.
Description: By chanting “Oh mighty powers above…” BEFORE you chant for another crusader spell you can increase its effectiveness. EXAMPLE: “Oh mighty powers above… Let us know no evil! Divine Protection!” then when Divine Protection is cast, it will be stronger by +10 posts.

Divine Protection
Mage Learning Requirements: 200 EXP ‘must have learned Understanding of Love’
Merc Learning Requirements: 200 EXP ‘must heave learned Understanding of Love’
Cast time: One Post
Casting Requirements: Must chant to magic words: ‘Let us know no evil!’
Effect: creates a barrier of concentrated light it can stop five attacks but not shadow or dark based attacks.
Description: This spell creates a shield of concentrated light that can be as large as 5ft by 5ft. The larger you make it the harder it is to maintain. The stronger your magical ability is the longer you can keep it out and the more magic it can resist. It can stop magic based attacks, but not physical attacks.

Divine Punishment
Mage Learning Requirements: 500 EXP ‘must have learned Divine Protection’
Merc Learning Requirements: 500 EXP ‘must have learned Divine Protection’
Cast time: One Post
Casting Requirements: Must chant magic words ‘Let your light rain down from the heavens to strike down my enemies!’
Effect: Calls down beams of concentrated light to do damage to the target.
Description: This is the pride and joy of the Crusader Study. It is an offensive attack, powered by your will to protect people. It is most effective against the darkness.

See No Evil
Mage Learning Requirements: 200 EXP ‘must have learned ‘Faith’
Merc Learning Requirements: 200 EXP ‘must have learned ‘Faith’
Cast time: One Post
Casting Requirements: Must chant magic words ‘Let me see no evil’
Effect: Allows the caster to see through the spell ‘Shadow Illusion’.
Description: This spell can be kept active as long as needed, though it can become tiresome to keep it active. It allows the caster to enchant his or her own eyes, to see through the spell ‘Shadow Illusion’. The spell ‘Shadow Illusion’ can allow it’s caster hide behind a shadow, turning invisible. This spell lets you see that caster as if the spell ‘Shadow Illusion’ was not there.

Martyr’s Reckoning
Mage Learning Requirements: 10,000 EXP ‘must have learned ‘Faith’
Merc Learning Requirements: 10,000 EXP ‘must have learned ‘Faith’
Cast time: Instant
Casting Requirements: Requires the presence of the caster’s ‘Death Blood’.
Effect: Allows the caster to summon all the magic left in his or her body as well as all the power of his or her soul in one massive final attack.
Description: Death Blood is a term describing a drop of blood from a mortal wound. In other words the only way to cast this spell is to have a wound that will ultimately kill you. Once that condition is met, you can sacrifice all of your remaining strength in one final burst of concentrated energy. This is one of the most powerful offensive spell, because it not only uses magic energy, but uses soul energy as well. From your death blood, the entirety of your soul is transformed into pure destructive energy. With your soul obliterated, your conciseness will fade into nothing as if you never existed. Some call this a fate worse than death, worse than eternal damnation. But no one can really say what happens once you move on to the next realm.

Cleanse Soul

Cast time: One Post
Casting Requirements: Must chant magic words ‘Let me know no evil’ Target must agree to accept the magic
Effect: removes all magical effects on the target
Description: This spell is like resetting the playing field for one target. It’ll take away any poison or Anti Aid spells… but it will take away and magical protecting and Aid spells as well. The target has a choice to decline the spell if he or she chooses so.
