"Thanks." Yume grabbed the broadsword by the handle and proceeded to swirl it a bit to get a feel for the weapon. "Ah.. this will do just fine." the oncoming smile was one that would normally cause most of her victims to lose control of themselves, though from the woman it was only a fit of giggles. "Let's see if I can still make art.. a puppet I say, for the little lost lamb." With that she proceeded to remove an arm off the woman, taking the time to let the edge work it's way slowly through flesh and bone. By the time she had removed an arm and cleared it of meat the woman had stopped laughing and was now crying from pain. She let loose a shriek now and then when the blade bit into flesh once more; Yume took her time and carved out her little masterpiece. It had been some time since she last had time to do something like this so she was a bit rusty and her 'artwork' didn't come out as she planned but still was close to it. What was left was a mockery of human life, of life itself really, a puppet of human parts fastened together by the entrails of the woman. In a rather grusome way there was some form of art to it. "One down one to go.. what to make this time... a puppet lover for our little lost lamb?"
By the time she had finished with the woman and was now standing infront of the man, he had lost both arms and was screaming bloody murder at her. Yume herself was coated in a fine glossy coat of blood, though you could hardly tell her clothes were stained. She lifted the blade in one hand, planning to instead skin her next toy, but at that moment he lunged at her, as if in attempt to bite out her throat. The effect was a wonderous spray of blood and added more color to Yume's face and sent the man's head rolling off to the side. "Oh.. he ruined it. well that's done with. Now where would they keep their money..." Yume never had much use for money, she picked out her living easily enough without it, and as such she turned to Sydney for an answer. Droplets of scarlet liquid dripped from the ends of her hair, trails steamed down her face, and parts of her hair were now matted and sticking together. In all, her appearance was as if she just came out of a shower that sprayed blood instead of water.

Sydney nodded. "And that's why we've got this now." He said plainly enough, taking the money from her open hand. He had the strange incling he shouldn't trust this woman, especialy concidering what she'd just done. Then again, they were both guilty of some sort of travestry, but the way he saw it, the two had it comming to them. Humans were such sinfull and despicable creatures... Their money couldnt' be used to hurt people, and they'd never hurt each other either. Maybe it was that he and the vampire witch had done them a favor, saving them the trouble of destroying their love and turning against each other in the end. "Their love will never be spoiled, I guess." He turned away from his bloody accomplice and pocketed the money, coins and paper. "They have hot springs... We'll see if we can't stay the night at the shack on the hill." He pointed back down the path to where the Inn would be. "I'll wash the damn sword too." He said, thinking of how bothersome it was going to be lugging that thing around again. His shoulder ached with rememberance of the weight.

She is a scary bit of work, isn't she, Sydney? You'd best be on your gaurd. "You frighten me." He said bluntly, taking the sword from her with two hands and sliding it back in the scabbard. He threw it over his uninjured shoulder, then looked back up to her impossing blood drenched figure. "You'd frighten grown men, witch woman." He held his wooden stick-sword in the other hand about halfway down the length to balance it so it wouldn't sag into the mud. It began to rain around them even harder. He hoped that it would solve his next concern. "Maybe this weather will clean you before the innkeeper asks suspicious question. Fancy a vampire walking into a human place covered in blood." He almost resented her for being so, but it couldn't be helped.
The boy picked up his courage and took the vamire woman's hand very gently. It was a mockery of course, but with the persuasive moves of a trained dancer, one of the only things he learned in school that kept him at the head of his fencing class, and thus half-combat equiped, he led her forward. His eyes radiated the same indifference and hatred, but his motions were right along someone who was ready for a good waltz in the moonlight, had there been any. "Let's find the damn inn again before another couple comes along." He said in the same blatant tone.

Yume smiled, for once it wasn't that insane- but friendly.. in a way, and followed Sydney's lead. She moved with an uncanny grace that was granted to certain aspects of the night and elves. The rain was rather soothing infact, though she took more comfort from the warmth she was taking from Sydney's hand. She was undead afterall and had no pulse to speak of nor body heat, the rain didn't bother her either really- temperatures never truely did. However, warm of the living was something any vampire who lived as long as she had sought comfort from now and then, why else would so many take to drinking alcohol. It provided a brief period of time where they could feel.. alive.. again- besides the fact it also induced mild periods of a lovely haze.
Blood washed free from her, clothing sticking to her body plastered by rain, leaving a trail of red water behind her that soon bled to a clear and pure water. Her hair was matted to her face, stray strands criss-crossing over her features. Out of sheer spontinueity, she decided to hug Sydney, well it turned out as more of a glomp since they were moving. She curved herself to match his body stature and brought her mouth next to his ear. "It would be best if we acted a couple no?" she whispered, voice laced with lust and many other things. Her eyes shone a brilliant violet, a shining brightness that made it all but impossible to tell her real motives.
