"Hmph..." He said, shrugging off the comment. Sydney still hadn't warmed up to the fact that he was actualy tollerating someone, escpecialy seeing as how she could likely kill him in an instant, being the monster she was. Somehow though he found the whole situation livable for now. Finaly he crested the hill, capping the last of the stairs with a stomp, throwing the mud from his shoes. And there, just as the humans had said, was a rather large and warm looking building, and in the cold night air he could see steam rising up from behind it.
"I like the one about the fat man..." He commented, turning around at the top of the stairs to look down on her. This was likely the only time he'd get a chance to do that seeing as how she was physicaly superior to him in most ways. She was folding her arms over her chest. Sydney was never one for courtesy, but then again, he didn't want any relapses and get himself killed by a vampire. "Here... I don't want it anymore." He said, sluffing off the cloak and holding it out with his free hand to her. Rain poured off of it, and there was slim chance that it would offer any protection from the elements. Besides, he was already soaked and his hair matted.

Sydney rolled his eyes, and looked away. She was enjoying this. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?" He said, stating exactly what he felt. There was no reason to kep secrets fro ma monster, especialy one that he figured, being a woman as well as a vampire, could read his mind anyway. He stepped up past her, the rain now beating down on him even harder. He pointed to where the couple had ran off. It wasn't too far off the beaten trail, and perhaps away from the bustle of the inn, the easier it would be to take their lives in secret. He had no desire for armed gaurds tonight. "I've no time for games... So if we can do this quickly..." He stopped for a moment, and thought about what he'd just said. Maybe it would be best to unwind. After all, he enjoyed the hunt of tortured souls just as much he'd bet as a vampiric woman. The insanity in her eyes matched what his own now became, only without the smile. It was there, burning like a fire. Yes, kill them Sydney. Squeeze ever last bit of breath from their bodies. He let on that he approved with a slight nod. "I regress... Sorry." He stammered. "Shall we? They've gone from the normal path, and perhaps we can catch them in the dark away from prying ears and eyes." for a human to love the death of humans was a strange occurence, but Sydney had come to fully accept this feeling as normal. He began to charge a spell in his left hand and took a few steps off to where the unfortunate couple had gone.

Yume's expression changed to that of a little kid on their birthday, "Ooo! Fun time!" With a really short squeal of happiness, she lept off the stairs into the woods, singing horribly off tune. While the words may not be understandable, to a point, she was singing something about bloodshed and slaughter. [insert genocide song from Trigun here] Needless to say, she did keep it semi-quiet so that only those near her would hear. Eventually it changed to a chant of "a hunting we will go, a hunting we will go, hi-ho the merry-o, a hunting we will go" Yume took to the trees early on and was busy trying not to slip and fall off the branches. She stopped momentarily on a branch, feet skidding slightly, and called back to Sydney. "Um.. did you see what they looked like?Or for that matter.. where they went?" in truth, Yume had just taken off in the general direction Sydney had pointed and a decent pace, and completely absorbed herself into singing horribly off-key.

(OOC: Vampire woman singing songs from Trigun... ) Sydney had caught sight of their souls, but not their physical descriptions per-say. He couldn't care less what they looked like. It was only a matter of finding them really. He wondered if he had the power to track down souls like a dog tracks down meat. Would he then be becomming nothing more than this woman's blood hound? "They went this way..." He pointed with the same hand, following behind her at a much slower pace. The vapire girl was right on track. He figured she must have known where she was going due to some inlaid special senses or some other nonsense like that. His spell finished charging and dissipated back into his body without using any energy. Still, he hadn't yet figured out how to hold onto one of the lethal attacks for longer than a few moments before it rested again in his own soul if not used. The boy charged another, fiddling with the soul strings of the vampire woman, just to get a reaction. He wasn't going to cast the spell, but play with her to see if the idea of the hunt had taken her away from her senses completely. To figure out the extent of a creature was to figure out how to kill it. In the mean time, he'd simply hunt with her like this. The boy took a sharp turn, and began running down the path that curved off the side fo the hill. Just like a human to get back on a path to the town when being persued by something. It's their nature to fly to the familiar, but it will only make it easier for us to follow and catch up to them. Idiots. "This way..." He called to the girl in the trees sitting almost directly above him now. And indeed, there was a female's little arm being pulled around a bending the path. Apparently the man knew they were being followed. "They know we're here..." He ran briskly after them, the rush of adrenalin make up for his fatigue for the moment.

"Hmph, even the vampire can't appreciate a good death spell... Don't be a human, woman." He grumbled right back, pushing the bill he'd been given. It was a fine line he walked when taking tea with the creatures of the night. He ran on, the girl that was behind him passing him up easily. The spell was fully prepared now. He had a lock on the man's soul. The woman, as easliy as she had been drug around by the man, he figured would be an easier target to simply hunt if the man was disposed of. "I'll break them... You can have their lives... I just want to make them suffer. Death is a gift I hate to give to whjo still owe me their pain." He put his hand out while slowing his pace to a jog. With arm outstretched and his straigh fingers entwined in the young man's soul he gave a sharp tug, smashing it like one might a tomatoe in his palm. He ripped out every strand of emotion inside of it except for that of incapacitating hatred for the woman he traveled with.
There was a scream not ten meters ahead on the wooded path as he began to attack the woman who may have just moments ago been his beloved. "Do you hear the music of suffering...? Isn't it gruesome? Isn't it beautifull? He asked, as if the two words meant the same thing. The man continued to beat on the woman, and she fought back wtih nails and teeth, slamming her fist repeatedly into the man's face, cryig out why he would do this, completely forgetting their persuers. Sydney finaly came to a stop as the pair came into view. It was quite the sight to see two young lovers rend each other to death.

Yume stopped on a low branch, huddle in a crouch on the wood with her coat end hanging down below her like a curtain. She watched their prey struggle with eachother with an eagerness that was usually only present in a child's eyes. "Death spells are fine, ones pointing at me however are not." Her eyes fastened on the small trails of blood the woman had managed to bring about with the repition of her movements. It was she had to admit a rather beautiful sight, and to some extreme there was a sort of harmony to it that could be taken for music. It was rather harsh in her ears though, torture was an art, and apparently this kid hadn't had any classes though was still rather talented.
"Tsk tsk, it is a rather beautiful piece you've composed; though, it still lacks a good melody. Toture is an art kid, one that takes time to perfect." Yume continued to watch the couple fight, curiosity growing on what exactly her companion could do. In a rather unwilled move her tongue ran out and slid over her fangs and lips, eager for the taste of blood. Age definately mattered in the taste of blood, too young and it would be terrible, too old and you'd get the same result. But the two that were their prey were definately in the qualifying range for a good taste.

"Hmph, right. I'm sure everyone would be so proud." He gumbled, smashing his hand around the woman's soul, ripping out the neccissary strings for whta he guessed would be the alst attack before the vampire drained them both fo their life blood. All he cared about was their money, but the sight he quite enjoyed regardless. Humans getting exactly what they deserved. What could be more appropriate? Suddenyl the woman's reactins changed from defensive strikes and cries of anguish and torment to a fierce cackling laughter. Tears came to her eyes more feverently, but these were tears of hilarity rather than despair. She struck lack lusterly back at him, laughing too hard to controle herself. This did indeed throw the man into a greater rage, and he desperately tried to find a way to hurt her. His anger mounted and he stepped off to the side of the road to pick up a stick. The woman simply laughed as he tried to flog her, only to be caught unaware as she tripped him, causing her to burst out with another eerie fit of giggles. "I've had my fun... Be my guest." He said, turning away from them. His chest ached from expendeture, but it wasn't anything he wasn't used to. Nicely done Sydney. It's what they deserved. He thought back, just hoping they had a bit of cash on them.
