The Great Tree of Life It�s said that if one confesses their love to someone while touching one of the massive roots of the Great Tree of Life that their relationship will last forever. Many chapels for marriage have been set up on the base of The Great Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is more than a big romantic Tree though� it�s actually the source of the Elves� Eternal Life. They say if you leave the city� you would wither and die� In truth nothing last forever� The Tree only slows down the aging of Elves. The farther you go from the Tree the faster you age. Because of this, many elves never leave the city� Some question if staying in one place all your life is actually �living�. Flarin City Hall A massive Tree that dwarfs the rest of the tree houses. It has many rooms and has many different purposes�. Residential Trees The basic homes of the elves� they are all basically large trees grown in the shape of houses� their walls are about as thick as a normal house, but have a hollow center, with mainly one door to the outside. The holes are not carved out of the trees, but naturally grown that way. To close their doors, the elves drape a green cloth over the entrance. Naturally there are no locks, but theft and braking and entering are unheard of amongst the Elven culture. For lighting, magic is channeled into the water source of the trees. As the water travels through the veins of the trees, it glows lightly, providing light with out the treat of burning down the entire civilization. Because of this unique lighting system, the entire city seems to glow a beautiful light. Market Trees The Market of the elves offers many different and unique products, most of which are wooden based� but use a lot of magic. The elves have created an entire culture through transferring magic through wood, and live plants. They can do many incredible things with they�re magic, after channeling them through plants.
