Act II - Paths to Destiny

[Neo]

Ha? Seems the two of them get along, Scarlet thought when she saw Allen taking Luna-chan's hand.
The little group left the boat and made their way through the crowd.
Actually Scarlet had intended to ask Kaya more about the Luberia HQ. But the people at the port were all busy with moving about so it was hard to follow the group. Even more since Kaya told them to hurry.

Suddenly Scarlet was pushed. "Ouch!" She hit the stone ground. When she got up and looked around she could see nothing but strangers. The others had vanished.

[Reika]

The port was awfully crowded when the group arrived. Sterling tried to make his way through the group of bustling people. He looked around to make sure everyone was together, and to especially make sure that his two princess were still nearby. He spot Violet and the other members of the group, but Scarlet was no where in sight. Did she get seperated? The thought caused Stering to become worried. He pushed back the way he came in order to find Scarlet. He felt himself starting to panic slightly, but the feeling quickly subsided once he found Scarlet getting up from the floor. "Are you okay princess?" he said, rushing over to her side.

[Neo]

"Sir Sterling!" Scarlet had never been happier to see her knight. "Yes, I'm fine. This crowd is aweful... I assume the others went on, didn't they?"

A thought crossed Scarlet's mind. On one hand they got seperated from the others which obviously was not a good thing at all. On the other hand, maybe this was the chance to finally talk to Sir Sterling without getting interupted. She looked at Sterling. Should she ask about earlier?

"We better find the others," Sterling said, turning to face the other way. Although he didn't know how long it will take to relocate the group. The crowd was pretty thick and the group seemed to not have noticed their absence yet and kept on moving on. For the time being, he was alone with Scarlet. He couldn't remember the last time he had some one-on-one time with her.

"Stay close to me princess," he told Scarlet, making sure she was right next to him as he started leading her up ahead.

Luna nervously tried to figure out who was holding her hand. Is that... Allen-san? She could guess it by his strange aura. He seemed to be settling down greatly, though he seems displeased with Kaya.
"Umm... Uh... You mean Kaya-san, Allen-san?" Luna asked timidly, squeezing Allen's hand. She felt relieved that someone actually led her. "W-Well... He's not a bad guy, actually... Just a bit too outgoing... I'm sure you'll like him soon." Luna smiled as she said that.

Scarlet took Sir Sterling’s arm to avoid getting separated again. The material of his cloak was thicker than she had assumed. But she could still feel the warmth.
When was the last time she had touched him? Right, it was the night when she tried to stop him from stabbing Kaya. She had grabbed his arm to hold him back. But apart from that she had always tried not to come too close to him since he seemed to prefer keeping the distance from other people.
He had to touch her once or twice though; that one time when she had almost fallen from the balcony for instance. He had grabbed her rather harshly. Or that night after her mother’s death, he had put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her.
Well, it hadn’t quite counted since he was always wearing gloves, had it? Now that Scarlet thought about it, she had never seen him taking them off. And while Sterling had already seen Scarlet wearing some quite exposing dresses, she couldn’t remember when he had ever rolled up his sleeves. Yes, he was wearing that uniform of his even on the hottest summer days. In a way it added to his image.

“Do you see them?” Scarlet asked. She had to speak up since people around were rather noisy.

Violet sighed. Both Scarlet and Sterling were nowhere to find. Geez It was her first time to go somewhere without guards. It wasn't good. She didn't know how long it would take for her to get back to Lestava. However, she felt that this journey wouldn't be as short as she could hope.
