Mangaka: Hwang Mi Ri
Volume(s): 24 (complete)
Genre(s): Action, Comedy, Shoujo, Drama
Summary: "What is a sweet, soft-spoken girl (Ha Li Kang) to do when her brothers, having just learned fencing and martial arts, decide to test some moves out on her in order to "tame her" and make her into their "little slave?" She runs to her knightly friend (Te Hu Kang, not related to Ha Li) for protection, of course. However, what happens when, instead of comforting her, he tells her that she is a coward for running away like a puppy who needs constant protection? No, she does not break down and cry like a weak girl. Instead, she resolves to grow stronger. With rigorous training everyday, Ha Li goes from being a scared girl who cries for help to becoming the Jjang (boss of a gang) of the Doberman gang. However, events lead to Ha Li getting in an accident with a truck. Afterwards, she is reborn into the body of a beautiful, but weak, rich girl Aram Han."

I just finished reading Hot Blooded Woman.. for the.. probably the 10th time (lol). Hwang Mi Ri happens to be among my favorite mangakas. You constantly hear bad critique about her.. all her characters look the same (specially the females.. there's only like 8 different ones she draws).. the storylines are similar, ect, ect... but honestly, I don't have one complaint about any of her works. I've come to love them all. And I'd really would like to find some of her earlier works, when she mainly appealled to older audiences, but I have yet to come across any. I will admit though, that there were a few things that I think would have made Hot Blooded Woman give more an, I guess impact, on the reader. And Hot Blooded Woman happens to be a manhwa with a lot of twist in the storyline.. if you're not really focused, you'll miss out on important details. Ha Ji is probably one of the most interesting character personalities I've seen in her works. Being that she has a serious poker face.. and for the longest time you assumed she was either really slow or just plain dumb. I thought it was extremely interesting to find out differently. And I have to agree.. she is kinda a wicked person.. being that she played as though she was being manipulated... when in fact, it was the other way around.

Indeed Hot Blooded Woman is good read from start to end. Although I find the theme almost as if it was the female version of Change Guy but with a better storyline, character development and defintely better ending.

Oh, I loved this manga. The story was exellent and the drawings was great. I started reading some other mangas made by Hwang Mi Ri after I finished this one. I agree with brusko on how great this manga is. I reread it recently.

I like Hwang Mi Rin's work as well, with the similar plot and more or less same drawings and all.

This manhwa was the first one that i read of her, and when i started i fell completly in love with it but as the story progress and after she gets back to her old body i lost interest it seemed like a completly different story and as you say it began to show her wicked personality that i started to dislike. And the end i didn't like it at all i feel pity for the poor stupid guy that ended with her.

But i still enjoy reading the first volumes and her other works some better than others but all have something that makes them fun to read, with her strong females, her strange harem love situations and jealous and wicked guys. I love her!!!
