BBB - November 1, 2008 02:31 PM (GMT)
I like rading manga's a lot. in case of manhaw if i like the story i ang the drawing is good i would read it.

mayachan - November 1, 2008 02:45 PM (GMT)
i prefer mangas!! but i read some manwha but i think thaht the drawings are better in the mangas!!!!!

lilochic - November 1, 2008 08:25 PM (GMT)
both....bucause i read both...lol :cheer:

Rizzz - November 1, 2008 11:30 PM (GMT)
I definitely like manhwa more because the heroine in manhwas are usually strong, smart or they have a strong point within them that makes you love them. I guess I'm getting tired of damsel in distress of some manga heroine!?

miahke - November 4, 2008 06:13 AM (GMT)
I read a few manwha. I think the style is a little more angular or harsh compared to manga.

Loving_Day - November 4, 2008 07:53 AM (GMT)
Yeah of course or I wouldn't be here xD :cheer: manga is my life but I do read less
manhwa too many volumes
:hungry:

sflores - December 1, 2008 01:32 AM (GMT)
i read more manga than manhwa. the manhwa that i read is
demon diary
angel diary
black jack
pig bride
goong
hot blooded women
and much more but i forgot.
the manga that i read is more than i can least so i leave it to ur imagiination. :cheer:

TheRandomChocolate - December 2, 2008 08:52 PM (GMT)
I read both... <3 I prefer mangas though :angelsing:

mirifical - December 3, 2008 06:45 AM (GMT)
I read both but I generally prefer manga. I usually like the drawings better and that plots are generally better.

bluesonnet - December 3, 2008 03:18 PM (GMT)
i love manhwa because the art for most of them is surprisingly good. i'm only partial to manga because i've been more exposed to japanese culture and it's easier for me to understand jokes/puns made in the japanese language than in korean. :D

AceArtemis7 - December 3, 2008 06:45 PM (GMT)
i can't really tell the difference between the two...much...I mean some of the mangas I like, turned out to be manwhas, and vice versa.

Though manwhas manga characters, the lines are more defined than mangas. They have striking features, whereas mangas is just normal, everything people you see...

One of my fave manwha is Bride of the Water God.

The art is SOOOOo detailed, its breathtaking!

ilovesaboten - December 4, 2008 03:40 AM (GMT)
manga! i don't really read manhwa... the drawings are ok. im more accustomed to manga tho lol

nalee - December 7, 2008 01:20 AM (GMT)
Of course manga.

alexis - December 7, 2008 02:07 AM (GMT)
i prefer manga because i feel than manhwa is about rough looking for the arts but its doesn;t mean i don't read them...i just only read a few stories like 100% Perfect girl and goong only xD :sneak:

AnimeAngel007 - December 7, 2008 02:18 AM (GMT)
i really like both mangas and manhwas
but i read more mangas

myduckyandme - December 7, 2008 04:31 AM (GMT)
I dont read korean mangas anymore because they get so confusing as the stories progress.

jessy8a10 - December 7, 2008 06:50 AM (GMT)
mmm i donīt dislike manhwa but prefer manga i have read both types and defenitely manga but Goong is really good and is manhwa but mangas have more viaraty and more genres and everything

lynzajw - December 13, 2008 05:11 AM (GMT)
I do have some manhwa series that I like, but overall, I MUCH prefer manga. From the art to the clothing styles to the storylines, I really just do feel that manga's superior to manhwa. Especially the art, really.

smerian - December 13, 2008 05:14 AM (GMT)
i haven't really found much interesting in manhwa. It's always a drama- usually with lots of angst, and the drawings are so similar (and i don't like the art style). Manga has a wider variety of art styles and different forms of storytelling.

hime - December 13, 2008 09:26 AM (GMT)
I read manhwas and i have a lot of fav, for example The one or Bride of water god. I read every manhwa that has interesting story.

KazeYuki - December 13, 2008 11:27 AM (GMT)
i don't like reading manhwa much because i don't find the pictures as good. there are some i do read because the drawings are good like witch hunter but i mostly prefer mangas.

quatrevav35 - December 13, 2008 03:40 PM (GMT)
manhwa, better storylines and art imo

kujika - December 14, 2008 05:30 PM (GMT)
Manhwa DAISUKI!
The art is not generally bad like some people seem to think... In my experience manhwa have a completely different feel compared to manga. I won't say all manhwa are deeper than manga, that's not true.

But...
most of my favourite fantasy/comedy/romance collection are manhwa... like
- Absolute Witch
- Legend of Nereid
- Masca
- Ciel
- Operation Liberate Men

and some more... must think xD

etineski - December 14, 2008 06:17 PM (GMT)
I read both.. manhwas are super artistic ! ahh welp i do read a lot of mangas than manhwas.. but i do like the art of korean comics.. its splendid!

notatragedy - December 25, 2008 10:52 PM (GMT)
I prefer manga, because sometimes the art in manwha is not very appealing to me and it's a little inconvenient to read from left to right when you get used to manga.

soh20 - December 26, 2008 12:37 AM (GMT)
I like both but there aren't a lot of manhwas out

vietangelix - December 26, 2008 02:32 AM (GMT)
I love reading both. Both the art is different and the comedy is different too.
Still I did read Manga more than Manhwa though.

kayleevue - December 26, 2008 08:11 AM (GMT)
I love to read both. They are both awesome in there own way. Manhwa sometimes have some awesome art drawings and i love that.

rurihoshi - December 26, 2008 10:09 PM (GMT)
I've read much more manga than I have manwhas. It's not that I dislike manwha - some artists I don't care for and some stories that I've read summaries for just don't appeal to me. But things like My Girl, Wish and Bride of the Water God are good.

whyanime - December 27, 2008 01:08 AM (GMT)
I love them both!! Though I tend to like the storylines of manhwa's better. =D

Some of my favs are
Saver
Arcana
Bride of Water God
100% Perfect Girl

Midnight Secretary
Vampire Knight
Special A
Skip Beat

manhua's are also beautifully drawn. I can't really tell the difference with some of the older ones, but the new ones you could almost recognize right away.

The One
Tao Tie Jie
Prince's Cactus

kagomilee - December 29, 2008 06:46 AM (GMT)
Of cause it is manhwa... surprisingly I felt that their plot is better than manga... and it is always

aahlll - December 31, 2008 09:34 PM (GMT)
I read manga more but a few manhwa. I like the art in manga more. I think I've read more than 100 mangas.

Flik - January 1, 2009 11:39 PM (GMT)
I read a lot more Manga than Manhwa because I dont know if it is just me, but Manhwa is more tragic /dramatic and I like simple cute stuff =D

sugarkitty - January 3, 2009 09:09 AM (GMT)
Manga for me. Hm. I sometimes don't think the art in manhwa is good, but I think that may just be because I've been reading too much manga. > _ <;;

Nevertheless, I still think manga is better~ c: I'm better used to the proportions of the drawings there. xD

vietmee - January 4, 2009 01:59 AM (GMT)
ehh...is there really a difference????? besides character names and the calls >.> lolz

well i read manga more o.o or atleast i think so...haha cus yea, i dont see a difference >.>

or i think theres the art work difference?? :O :full:

guest69 - January 5, 2009 05:41 AM (GMT)
The artwork between manga and manhwa isn't really that different.
But for some, it really is. Manga artwork is stereotypically childish in a sense, using rounder faces and often cuter characters. While manhwa on the other hand seems to use a lot more shading, appears a LITTLE more realistic than some mangas, and uses somewhat more mature characters... I suppose? I'm not quite sure... s'not like I study it...
Anyways, correct me if I'm wrong... :D

nuttdragon - January 5, 2009 01:02 PM (GMT)
I read manhwa...But alot. There're a few I like, like A kiss to the Prince, The delinquent lesson, Do you want to try etc. But I notice that there are a lot of manhwa which tends to have sad endings! So I still prefer manga right now. I like the characters to be happy! Though I must say most shoujo manga are getting quite typical and stale...They need to think of new storylines!!

potters06 - January 7, 2009 07:07 AM (GMT)
It's still manga for me mainly because I like the art more.
