I was wondering if anyone has seen this? I was going to watch it this weekend as the casting caught my eye. To be honest, I've read the Three Kingdoms novel about 4 times and was curious to see how the battle of Chibi would be portrayed.
Hello!
I've seen it! I wasn't very interested in 3kingdoms and stuff but the movie was quite commercialized I feel. The fighting scenes are long and ummm, stylized? There are quite a few bits that are not in the real three kingdoms too. (According to my sister and friend who knows these stuff...) So if you want to watch it, don't have too much of expectations of a historical movie. And it's long. The second part is coming out, but imo, they probably should and can! edit it into one part. There're just too much extra scenes imo.
I got around to watching the movie a couple months back and thought it was entertaining and am looking forward to the second part. From what I've heard, the US release is supposed to combine both movies but water it down a bit.
I'm probably late to reply, but it was awesome. . .
sadly both movies don't really follow the actual history, which I leave it to you to watch them and wikipedia Three Kingdoms to find out
