Title: Rebuild The Wct And Crash A Boeing Into It
Description: How Much Does It Cost ?

Hi,

That's the only way to get the truth. :ph43r:

If after the crash the building still remain so we were right, there were explosifs.

I was just talking about this the other day.

I imagined that nations volunteered old buildings and planes for crash tests all over the world.

If only...

[Designed by Minoru Yamasaki and Emery Roth, the towers and concourse portion of the center were completed in 1973 at a cost of some $750 million.

Its not imposible ... And we need only one tour so divide 750 million by 2 or 3.

300 millions $, we can do it.

The outcome sure would be interesting, eh?

You wouldn't even need a full sized one, in the case of wtc1 just the top 1/3 of the building built how it was could be used to try and replicate the collapse.

Or perhaps a replica model at 1/10 scale as you would do in the movies for a minature that you wanted to destroy built accurately enough for it to behave within realisitic parameters of weight ratios and structural intergrity.

how would you ensure that the test tower did not have explosives planted in it?

who would preside over this experiment? IS there anyone we can trust?

A truther behind each worker :D

Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez or both could support a big project like this. Maybe they ll be happy to do it. ;)

The only problem is BUsh & Co. We dont know how they could react ...

The building didn't collapse.

The building didn't collapse.

You know the area where the plane crashed did collapse and there is a difference between that building that is long and low and the tall WTC.

Get the Myth Busters to do it.

In my opinion we dont need to crash a boing into it or even build as great building as wtc.

It is easy to do a test on steel structure... and it has been done many time.

Well, we just need old steel building, weakend the sructure (cut some columns etc) then bring on some jet fuel, set it all on fire, and see what will happened.

And guess what. It will NOT collapse in CD style.

Uhm, that was an accident. Though there are still many questions left unanswered about the cargo they were transporting and stuff like that it doesn't really resemble the WTC attacks but more the Pentagon attack though. The building was long and low. It was a row of apartments.

Anyway, we should have a building, crash a plane in there and see what it does. It will most likely not enter the building as seen on 9/11!

I disagree, given enough time and fuel (this is open to debate, there was plenty in the WTC but there are no 'raging infernos' visible after a minute or so) any steel supported building will collapse

This is the Windsor Building in Madrid. The central core you can see is concrete, there were something like 8 more stories on top of that entirely built in steel which fully collapsed.

The only 'complete' way to simulate WTC would be to build it again and test it, but even that will have problems, just because you built it to be the same doesn't mean it is the same. You would literally have to ensure that every single bit of steel (or at least the vast majority) were of the exact same grade and had the same characteristics. This really is impossible :(

The best hope for a comprehensive explanation of the collapses lies in an investigation the likes of which NIST carried out. I'm aware there are lots of people who have major problems with the NIST report, but my point is that their tests or similar tests are the closest anyone can get to the conditions of 9/11

edit: Also, the twin towers didn't collapse in "Controlled Demolition style", they collapsed in a violent explosion of elements, in no way was the collapse 'controlled' (in the sense that debris was directed) or an implosion.

Look at the BBC time line. It's numerology again!

Not to sound derogatory or mean, but the Mythbusters wouldn't do this experiment because the FCC wouldn't allow them. However, if that was the case and the FCC allowed on public television the public humiliation of others, then something would be very wrong with this picture.
