Title: Any Soldier
Description: Send Any Soldier A Care Package
batmanchester - January 5, 2007 06:54 PM (GMT)
i came across this site, and thought to myself, wow.
why not send a soldier a package of some sort, a letter, a book, a p[air of socks, whatever?
it's not their fault that they're over there, and let's be honest, they think they're fighting that war for all the right reasons.
i'm going to send something, and hope you will consider it also.
imagine the loneliness they must feel as the holidays approach, and they're stuck over there.
they're our people, so let's give em a boost........................BMC

I wanted to add another caveat to this post. It was before Thanksgiving when I first posted this on another forum, but now that the Holidays are over, the soldiers are still over there.
Imagine how they would feel about the truth movement as a whole if they started to recieve care packages from us. How much less likely would they be to obey orders from those who don't even provide them with the essentials they need, but the ones whom the government labels kooks and fringe conspiracy theorists send care packages?
The site at the link above has packages that are as low as twenty bucks, and as high as a hundred and fifty. Whatever any soldier recieves would be appreciated and remembered. Just something to think about.

but how are they to know it's from a supporter of the truth movement?

yes, when you send the package, you can add a note saying who it's from, where you're from, and a short note with a message. It could be something simple like what my wife and I put: "Stay safe and come home in one piece. From your extended American family in the truth movement."

a very worthy cause... I'll look into this for myself.

If I had the money, I'd send a bottle of Crown Royal in a blue velvet wrap, and a T-shirt that says:
"BUSH" IS A FOUR - LETTER WORD
A CARD reminding them how much we care,
and then pray for their safe return,

May I recommend a copy of the Loose Change DVD to EVERY soldier stationed abroad.
They are sheep following orders - they have no clue about the truth - and no contact with the real world - everything they get is filtered out.
Maybe they have a right to know why they are going to die for their country.

I personally think Who Killed John O'Neil would be a better first choice. ;)

I think that idea is awesome idea.
I am enlisted in the Navy going on deployment in November.
A copy of that DVD to show ton's of the Marnies and other Navy guys on my ship would be awesome. I am just saying though. I like ideas like that.

I am in the army, and i have political debates on these issues often, when i bring the loose change dvd and show people at work, they are amazed and somewhat confused, but i guess thats a natrual reaction

Well its true, why would you bring that stuff to housing. Bring some porn or a bootleg movie.
Also fyi there is a Super Bowl or Rami calls it "Soper Bowls" Party at Disco Time Fun, it will be in the back where they have the Poker Games. Rami is going to be making dogs, burgers, and maybe nachos.
