Within the hustle and bustle of London, two families hold power and influence.

One family shines within the polite society and social pages of both the muggle and wizarding world. Anyone who is anyone will make connections with them at some point. The Kensingtons have but one agenda: To be the best and to be the focus when the world looks at the London social pages.

On the other side of the coin, the Queens, an international mob family, have their own agenda. They have had a presence in London since the beginning but it has always been behind the scenes. Though they hire wizards, the family has yet to knowingly succeed in bringing magic within the bonds of the family name.

This is the backdrop that sets the stage for our world. Something is always going on somewhere in London, all you have to do is open your eyes to see it.

Two families vying for control.. which will you side with?

Weather: Autumn is a time of poetic beauty in London. The weather can still have a mild summery feel, the parks are awash with colour and fireworks light up the sky to celebrate Bonfire Night. A winter chill creeps into the air around the end of October as the leaves start to fall. Bring warm clothes and a good coat.

Sept. 12th -  Nearly one year of activity is upon us.  It is a great time and full of ideas and story lines.  All that it requires is you to add your creativity and activity to the mix.  Come on in and celebrate with us.

June 13th -  Summer has hit and lots of stuff goes on behind the scenes in real life.  Be patient but keep posting.  We are still going strong, just a bit slower than we were.  Enjoy the summer.  :)

May 1st -  The activity check is finished.  Users that had not signed in or were not new within the last couple of weeks have been removed. Thank you for your cooperation.

If you have had some new events to add to your character's history, or newly discovered details that would be good to add to your character's bio, this would be a great time to take care of that. Just pm the Minister of Magic the name of the character and the bio will be moved back to the working area for you to edit for reapproval. Do not change anything that is already listed. This is only an addition time.

If you have bios that are still in the working area, this would be a great time to finish them up for final placement in the vaults.

March 7th - Attention All Writers!!

There is an activity check in progress.  Please be sure to sign in with each character and let us know that you are still interested in being active.  The deadline for signing in is April 30th.  Any character that hasn't signed in on the Activity Check Thread in the Out of Character Section will be deleted May 1st.

Feb. 10th - Things are heating up.  Find your place and jump in.  Don't just watch, become part of the action.  The Kensingtons are trying to out produce the Queens, and at the moment, I think they will have the biggest season of birthdays come summer.

The Queens are working through the growing pains of a new start under new management.  In and about all of that are many little subplots, romances, plots, and threats.  Need help finding a place to jump in?  Ask an admin.  Have an idea of your own?  Let us know how we can help.

Enjoy the month of romance.  Take that special someone out to dinner at Chez Ivoire.  Make it even more special by arranging to stay the night in a fancy suite at the Del Mont.

Don't forget those chocolates of all sorts and varieties found at the Bernie Bitts.  A carriage ride for two sound more your thing?  Great, the Rambling Rose Stables can hook you up without a problem.

Jan 4th - The new year has begun.  Yeah, December threads are still going (holiday travels delay things the admin knows this first hand), but lets aim for getting them done by the end of Febrary.  Next big theme for those threads is Valentine's day.  Which couples will still be together?  Which will be split?  What new couples will have formed?  And is there enough chocolate for them all and me too?  Tune in to find out.

December 6 - Watch for the tree lighting and get ready for the holiday season.   Happy Holidays in London Town.

September 28, 2008: MAJOR MILESTONE ACHIEVED: Board near completion after four days of hard work, sweat, tears, and hair-pulling.

Board created on Aug 30 2008, but is not yet ready for Roleplay.  Please check back often.
