The new battle

Not too long afterwards, Tempest came charging in, mad as hell. Growling and on all fours still, he was most curious about Ninetails.

"I don't know why the hell any of you are here, but I won't stand by and watch you assholes rip up my home! You have 10 seconds to start explaining before I start breaking heads open!", the dragon snapped.

"Another fool seeks to attack these refugees?" Ninetails turns his head. "Haven't we have enough death today? I don't know about anyones home and right now I am too pissed off to give a damn but these people are survivors of a vicious attack by the Alpha's and were cleared by law to come here. I have fought to keep them safe and I have had it. You....no...forget it. I'm done justifying myself today." Ninetails walks past tempest and over to the wounded. "Any wounded Reploid or other type of robot come to me for repairs...it's the least I can do for all this misery."

"Refugees...? From Dopplar town by chance?", he asked a bit less angrily. "I was told I'd be getting a load of refugees, but some troublemakers are here too."

"Does the name Dr. Weil ring any bells kid?" Ninetails says. "One of the three Fathers of Reploidkind, the rogue who died two years ago? Kind of not dead and is running around inside of Mega Man X. Oh, Alpha's alive, the world is screwed up and i feel like shit because Weil came for me and this blood is on MY hands because of it. There's your great synopsis." He stops himself. "Sorry...I...he could have killed us all. I think...for the first time in my life...I'm....scared. I never...never saw someone with that kind of power." He chuckled. "I am lucky my kid ain't here to see this...I'm fucking pathetic right now.

Tempest had already backed off somewhat. He still wasn't sure why they were on Ryship, but he had a hunch now that they weren't a threat at least.

"S-sorry... I've been on edge since all these folks started showing up.", he gets up and cautiously approaches the group. "I help protect this island. Dr. Weil's become an especially large pain in the side and I don't really know who's following him and who isn't."
