She was soon accompanied by Quick Man, who hurled a quick boomerang at Cockatris. Meanwhile, Grapple Man, who had just left Doppler Hall, had been observing the battle from afar. Naturally, he advanced towards the fray as his instinctive thirst for combat kicked in. Then he paused. The words of the mighty Ninetales began to play back in his mind; For what do you fight for? What is the purpose of battle? What is the ultimate goal...your ultimate fate? Grapple Man hurriedly resumed his advance as he tried to expel such a thought from his head. I fight... for Theta! His word is my command! Slowly but surely, he began to slow down as doubt crept into his mind. I must obey him... because... because he is my master! And what if I fail him? Then... then... He stopped. Then what? Grapple Man leaned against the wall of a building, mulling over the possible consequences of his actions. -------------------- ^ If these guys aren't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by 2012, I riot!
