REX's Spritework

Thought I'd show some of this stuff. Only a couple of people have seen these so far.

Note: These sprites are not supposed to be on the same scale when they're next to each other. I should have mentioned that right off the bat ^^;;



A 32-bit attempt at Gravity Man. What more can I say? (Not much besides the two bases for the body, at least ^^; but those I'll let you guess on your own =P)



And what is Gravity Man without Charge Man? Made partially from Jet Stingray, the Colonel from X4 and Cyber Peacock, and with color schemes coming from the Colonel, Izzy Glow and Blaze Heatnix.



No points if you guess on this one. I could use some tips on it, though; I'm sure there are at least two big things wrong with it.

Next project: Ride Boarski. You'll find out soon why if you haven't figured it out by this point =P

I've seen Gravityman before, good job on it.

As for Doppler...something about his arms look off...maybe it's the line in the middle of it, it's still really good though.

Chargeman looks pretty good too, but the locomotive on the back of his head looks a little too short I think, his head also looks...well...oval-ish.

Doppler's base is of course Sigma, but I get no points for knowing that.

I also know part of the base of Gravityman, but only because you told me.

Good job overall.

I agree with Metabad, Charge Man looks a tad too slim IMO. He's supposed to be more bulky and trainlike. Gravity Man looks pretty cool, though, and I like how you modeled his stance. As for Doppler... I don't have much to say, I guess. But, whatever; you probably did better than I ever could on my best day, so props.

I saw the Gravity sprite on your Deviantart, It still rawks. Charge strikes me as being a tad bright, but overall, close to it's original size. Doppler strikes me as being a bit tall, but I am used to working with the Snes Doppler, so...

But all and all, definitely awesome work REX.

Oh! Since you brought up sizes, I should've mentioned the sprites aren't all on the same scale ^^; Thanks for bringing that up.

Gotta love quick edits. Thought I'd give Saturn a try in his in-game armor, so I took the sprite from when the Cosmic Gladiators still existed, which was made from Dynamo and Shield Sheldon with the color scheme from the Mega Man & Bass CD of Saturn.

Dunno if his shoes should be a little more edited, but I'm leaving them for now. I'm sure his head looks too much like a can or a box, though ^^;

This was a time-consumer. Bases are Metal Shark Player and the Skiver; color scheme is Magma Dragoon's. Still seems like there's a lot wrong with it, but whatever. It could just be me.

I think it looks really good, honestly.

Spent two whole days on this one. I'mma go to bed now and see how many people commented tomorrow, 'kay?

I agree with this fact. : D

His head's kinda small, and his arms a little long. Gives him sort of a gorilla physique, haha. Good sprite, though.~

Second draft. A couple people elsewhere gave me some advice to slim him down, but since I was worried that'd force me to delete some of the details on him, I made him quite a bit taller instead (I guess it works better in the end, given that he's supposed to be 13 feet tall). I also made a few shading changes while I was at it.

Looks good REX. You did the Stunticon of the MM world proud.

Too bad I don't need to do that for the resident Triple Changer.

So, who should I take care of next IYO? Jazz, REX (and should I sprite Digital as well?) or Napalm Man?
