Maverick, KoNA edition, or Mafia if the name is to Megaman-like.

Welcome to Maverick! This game is a spinoff of the famed “Mafia” game (See Here). We are going to have an Informant, that's me. I'm basically the overseer of the game. I will be the one responsible for getting all the responses and alerting the Reploids (you all) of what is happening. Without further ado, here are the rules

This story takes place in an altered timeline where all reploids in this game are Maverick Hunters. A new Maverick Virus has appeared that can disappear and reappear effortlessly on it's host, and is nearly indetectable to the scanners. One of the 15 members of a stranded Maverick Hunting unit has been infected by this horrible virus, and plans to assassinate his entire squadron one by one. Can the Maverick Hunters destroy their hidden foe before it's too late?

1. Those with roles, don't give away your role. PM me, and I will act for you.

2. Once you are dead you cannot give away crucial evidence to the story. That would ruin the game for those who are still playing. You can still appear here and there as a Ghost data, but no hints to who is who.

3. Humans aren't allowed in, nor are Superhumans and Cyborgs. How would you guys get the virus.

4. No sidekicks are allowed for the story, unless they are acting alone.

5. If the character in question is more then one character, they have to work as one, or be just one of the two. Sorry Gemini twins.

6. Only one character per person. What if they got Lifesaver and Maverick at the same time...

We will have one Maverick.
I will notify the killer via PM along with the question "Who do you want to kill". The Maverick will then decide who to kill and PM me back with their response. For example, The Maverick would PM me and say "I want to kill _______" <--- and he/she will list another player (anyone but me, I am the host and therefore am not actually playing the game but rather orchestrating it.).

We will also have one person who is Officer.
I would PM the officer to notify them that they are the officer and say "Who do you think it is?". That person then has to try to guess who the Maverick is during the Night phase (hard to do on a first guess, its random) Again, this is done via PM to me. So they could say for example "I think its ____". I will PM that person back with a 'yes' or a 'no' answer. Just so they know if they guessed correctly.
Now, when the round starts, THE OFFICER CANNOT POST ANYTHING THAT SAYS "I am the officer, and I guessed it was 'so and so' and was told I was right. The ONLY thing you can say is if you chose the WRONG person. For example ________ is the Maverick and you as officer picked someone else. I of course would have already PM'd you that you had picked the wrong person. IF the townspeople are all edging towards the innocent person as the killer you CAN say "I have inside information that it is NOT ______". In other words you can defend an innocent person but you cannot point out the guilty one after identifying yourself as the officer. Make sense?

And then there is the one person who is a Lifesaver.
I would PM that person notifying them that they are the Lifesaver, and ask who "Who do you want to save?" and that person would PM me back with a person from the list who he/she wants to save from being killed. The Lifesaver can choose to save him/herself, or anyone else (except me of course). The person chosen cannot die for that round. Lets just hope that it synchs up nicely with the assassin's victim.

OK after all three of those notifications have been done I as the Informant will post on the thread who was killed. IF BY CHANCE the person who the Maverick chose to kill was also saved by the Lifesaver, I would say something to the effect of "there was a horrible accident BUT the lifesaver was able to save 'whoever'.

THEN its up to you, the Reploids (including the Maverick, Lifesaver, Officer) to try to determine who among you is the killer. Basically you will post who you think it is. If the person gets two nominations, they are set to Defendant mode. we will get two defendants per round. They will have the chance to defend themselves (ie, _____ is being picked as the Maverick when he/she is innocent) He/She will say something like "I had to get the servos in my right arm adjusted." (or something hopefully more interesting). You as the (all of you including the Maverick, officer, Lifesaver) will vote from that list of two. and the game goes on. If you voted off an innocent person, he/she is then dead and can no longer vote, until the Maverick is caught and the game restarts of course.

Just a few extra things to remember to make the game more fun:
You are setting a storyline...try to be creative...go places have fun. Just like you would in real life. So just remember have fun and be creative...and DON'T SPAM... unless it's game spam. Also there is to be no between-member PM'ing to find out things, Like a Dead character telling the other person who the Maverick is. That just ruins the game completely.

Remember, characters are not exactly the same people as their KoNA counterparts, and as such nobody is banned from any role. Alpha may be a Lifesaver, Berkana the Officer, or even (perish the thought) Sigma as a Maverick.

Supremax: As much as I hate to say it I am getting a very bad feeling. There is something wrong here..VERY wrong. I don't know if it's my spiritual training or just intuition but...I think one of us....no...it CAN'T be. I'm ever not certain I am feeling to well...what is with this place?

Slash Beast: *glances at Saturn* You are a strange fellow. Either way, I came here to these parts.

Killerman: "I don't know what you are talking about this place looks fi-" he then stops and looks around "oh nope you guys are right."

Hellbat Schilt: *glides in and looks around* ...Zo many people veeling uncomvortable under zese conditions. I…zense nothing but impending doom, could it be juzt az God had prophesized?

That, and it could potentially be unfair for one player to have two characters in this game.

Abandoned Maverick Hunter Base, Front of Building

"Listen Up Maggots!" Redshirt Wolf shouted, his eyes wartorn and angsty "You are the best of the best, of the few and the proud." He patted the wall of the rusted, decrepid base.

"As you may or may not know, we have been assigned to this outpost in an effort to keep an eye on the FIRST Maverick Hunter base." A security camera fell off the wall, crumbling to rust when it hit the ground. "Security is low, and worse yet, I didn't get the files back from HQ showing ANY of your systems. Any one of you could turn maverick at a moment's notice."

Scratching his chin "That is to say they'd even know, supposedly there's a new variation on the Maverick Virus that is undetectable, and worse yet can be disguised as a harmless file. Making the reploid appear to be just like any one of us."

"Well, enough ghost stories." he smirks. "We'll meet up here in 0400 hours, until then, rest in your CR chambers, maggots."

Abandoned Maverick Hunter HQ, Barracks Hall

All 9 Recruits are there, but Redshirt Wolf cannot be found, upon entering his Barracks, they find him locked in his CR chamber, pounding on the hatch. As the maintenance droid drives over to unlock it, It detonates, blowing apart both Redshirt and and Maintenance droid.
