Put anything about, I am sure, the future Mr. Addison Montgomery or the damn smoking for over 50 Tim.

I found something about Tim and I thought I should post it here (this time nobody made me post it here :P )
The Daly Show Suffern native Tim Daly stars in the cast of the new ABC fall drama, 'Private Practice.' It’s become a Grey’s Anatomy rule: If you’ve got a sexy leading man, he must have a “Mc-” nickname. First there was McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey), then McSteamy (Eric Dane). And now that ABC is launching a Grey’s spinoff, a new fall series called Private Practice, we may just have a McSmoothie—in the form of Suffern native and hunky leading man Tim Daly. The new show follows Addison Montgomery (played by Kate Walsh), who, in a special two-hour broadcast of Grey’s last spring, said sayonara to Seattle Grace Hospital and headed for the holistic haven that is Los Angeles’ Oceanside Wellness Clinic. Her plan? To put those McMen in the past, start a new job, and have a baby by artificial insemination. Unfortunately, she soon learned that she’s infertile. Enter Dr. Pete Finch, Daly’s character, who consoled an emotionally devastated Montgomery in a stairwell and, just to prove she’s not “dried up,” gave her a big ol’ smooch. Hence McSmoothie. Or maybe, since he’s an acupuncturist, it should be McOuchie. Whatever the moniker, the new series is sure to make Daly a bigger star than he already is. As the son of ’70s TV star James Daly and brother of Judging Amy’s Tyne Daly, he has quite an acting pedigree. And he has a familiar face thanks to roles in NBC’s long-running sitcom Wings, Barry Levinson’s Diner, and, most recently, The Nine and The Sopranos. Look for Private Practice to begin airing on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. this fall. Source -------------------- |
